Student Visa while I-130 (as dependent) in process

Hello,

I am US Citizen and I filed I-130 for my elder brother back in year 2007. At the time of filing I included my nephew as my brother's dependent son. My nephew's age at that time was 12 years. This I-130 is still in process.

Now my nephew is 21 years old and is planning to apply for Student visa to do Masters as he has been accepted at one of the Univ. in US.

So our concern is - Does the in-process I-130 will have any complications/issues to get the Student Visa ? Anyone has been with same situation before ?
