HI everyone,

I have my CR1 visa interview on the 9th of June at london and was getting everything ready. I noticed that everyone takes the affidavit of support form. I have submitted this to the NVC and I'm not sure if I need to take a copy of that to the interview or is the recent 2015 tax return of my sponsor and co sponsor enough ??? Also on my interview letter , in the financial documents it says - Y . PLEASE HELP

You will need to bring the "wet signature" copy...aka the original of the copy sent. The CO will be looking for the signature in ink. If you don't have the original, have your spouse (or sponsor) sign another completed form. You will also need copies of tax returns, etc.

*** sorry, just re-read your post......If you sent the original then either the Y on your letter is a mistake, or they don't believe it is an original. I have read that sometimes using a black pen to sign causes the CO to think it is a copy. I would, if possible bring another form re-signed (in blue pen if possible). Worst case, you won't need it, best case, they are looking for it, and you have it on hand.

Your original signed I-864 will be sent from NVC and will be at your interview. If you have a newer tax return, then you can take it. London won't need to see blue ink signatures.
