My fiance and I just recieved the NOA2 in the mail for our K1 visa, and it says
Embassy: Vancouver

I live on Vancouver Island so the Vancouver Embassy would be ideal.

Has anyone been directed to Vancouver that received their NOA2 lately? Our approval date was May 25.

Kinda hesitantly excited about not using days off, expensive flights, and a pain in the ###.

I'd be really surprised if it went to Vancouver (which is a consulate, not an embassy.) They're going to be stopping K1 interviews there, however the USCIS may not have updated their system.

Let us know what your NVC number is.

I haven't received my NVC # yet. We just got the NOA2 in the mail today.

I know, that's why I said, let us know. So when you find out, you can let us know. :D

Ditto here -- mine did not have a consulate listed either.

Well sadly, I get the pleasure of going to Montreal.
Nothing like 3 flights each way, 2 days and a rest day, $900 for flights. UGH!!!!!

After all we have been through (we ALL have been through), I know that this is just another step to be where I want to be.

Cheers
James
