I am looking for some insight regarding our AoS case from K1, we got married in January 2016. We recently received a NOID stating Jvisa waiver required. However, I've never held a Jvisa. Yes i am a teacher but only traveled to the US on a VWP to visit family and friends.

I've called USCIS but it wasn't helpful. Tried to speak to Tier 2 and scheduled a call back but haven't got a call back...

so we are wondering what do we put on the waiver statement or just write a statement to USCIS stating that i never held a J Visa... Please advise how to proceed?

Oh, sorry to hear that.

What I will do:

Photocopy of all my current/old passport pages to show I never had a J1 visa before and respond to the NOID.

Or contact your congressman / senator to help you.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

There are many options to choose for infopass.

Generally I will choose any option to get me into the USCIS office as quick as possible :content:

I am also thinking to include all your passport pages US entry stamps, showing that non is under J1 visa, in your NOID response.

Good luck to you! (F)
