It has some confusing wording, but that part is actually asking for information about your relative. So, when it asks for your relative's spouse's name/DOB/birth place... that would be you.

Bonbon76, I see that you might actually be the beneficiary and not the petitioner. For the question you posted, the petitioner's name/dob/birth place goes in those boxes. It's asking information about the beneficiary's spouse and children.

OMG I did the same mistake in part C.no RFE untill now.no info on my USCIS account. We did call them so many times to change the address and finally we could do it on a call back last thursday. Now the USCIS E account says they have sent a response to our address change with a long refferal no. I wonder if these ppl in the customer care could give us specific info. I am thinking....shall i send the I 130 again with the correct C part. Looks like visa journey is my only life line.

No they are not asking for your spouse.... your spouse if the petitioner.

They needed your name, DOB etc on there and also if you have any kids that will be migrating with you.

No you can't send anything in. If you send it in now they wouldn't know what to do with it.

If you do get the RFE it will have a coversheet to go with your RFE so they will know which file it goes with.

By the way, why do you think you will get a RFE?

Thank you. I will wait for rfe and that I will only receive if they change the address( which shows a referral no. as response).

Do god knows if they chanfed my address or not? If they dont and send letter to old address....we dont live there.

So confused in absence of any letter or diection. They should write everything in e gov account.if we dnt receive the letter atleast we wohld know what they asked for.

this e gov is all about code words. Doesnt solve the purpose.

I feel like sending the whole petition afresh with new address.Atleast we will receive something.

That part of the form is way more confusing than it needs to be. The question is asking for the petitioner's (because everything is worded for the petitioner) relative's (because the form can also be used for other immediate relatives and not just spouses) spouse/children. If you are petitioning for a parent, for example, this is where you would write the parent's spouse and children's names. So, when you are petitioning for a spouse.... the petitioner is the spouse they are talking about. Any children the beneficiary might have, also go in this section. This does not necessarily mean anyone listed on there will be immigrating with the beneficiary. If you have USC children, they would go in there as well, and they would have no need to immigrate.

The petitioner's relative's spouse, in this case, is the petitioner him/herself. So the information that needs to be filled in for this specific person, is the petitioner's info.

If its just for a change of address there wouldn't be an RFE for that. People do move.

From reading your prior post I realize that it seems like an officer was assiged to work on changing your address.

Again....part C....we should write the petioners name dob country etc...right?

Assuming the petitioner is your spouse, then yes. Part C is asking for the beneficiary's spouse/children's names/dob/country of birth. If the beneficiary's spouse is the petitioner, the petitioner's info goes in there. It sounds silly and repetitive because obviously the petitioner should be the beneficiary's spouse for the spouse visa. But the I-130 form is used for other relatives as well, not just spouses, so that part is less ridiculous for a different type of relative.

Editing to add.... Part C 1-16 is all about the BENEFICIARY ("your relative" on the form is the beneficiary). Part C-17 is asking about the BENEFICIARY's spouse/children. So everything before question 17 in Part C is about the BENEFICIARY. Question 17 specifically, is about the beneficiary's spouse (most likely the PETITIONER for the spouse visa) and children.

Ooops I misread that. You're right, I just went back and look at the screenshot again.
