My spouse and i already got married early this year and he is living with me as a permanent resident, the current petition is for my stepson, I really did anticipate it taking this long

it's not a red flag but i still thought mentioning the nature of the petition would be nice

We are at 196 days. PD June 1
Transferred to Texas Oct 18 ....No news

I called USCIS today and talked to a level 2 supervisor. I was told my case is in the normal processing time as they are currently working on MAY 2nd and told me to call back January 17th. Happy Holidays! Good bye ----- click :(

If they ever tell you that, tell them that date hasn't been updated since SEPTEMBER 30! That processing time is just a crutch they can lean on when they're way behind like they are now.

Interviewed and approved on Dec. 14th. Case status updated and received a text tonight that green card was mailed today.

July 2000 - Met online
April 14, 2014 - Officially a couple

June 27, 2014 - Met in NZ

July 5, 2014 - Engaged

July 16, 2014 - Returned to NZ

July 25, 2014 - Married in Palmerston North, NZ

June 20, 2016 - Mailed I-130/I-485 Package

June 27, 2016 - Package received

July 5, 2016 - NOA 1

July 9, 2016 - NOA 1 (hard copy)

July 15, 2016 - Received I-797C for biometrics

July 27, 2016 - Biometrics appointment date
