No idea! Have you tried contacting them? They are so slow and blame it on lack of staff. I was told that there are a,1000 application per 100 employees and too many people trying to immigrate. Sounds like a lame excuse!

Will such an excuse by an applicant be accepted? "I couldn't respond in a timely fashion because I'm overwhelmed"?

Other centers are doing fine, so why isn't Nebraska?

My wife called last Friday, and the person replied as follows:

We now show the PD [did not use the exact term] of the latest form processed. Please call for inquiry if and only if your PD has passed [as per USCIS page].

I am not sure if anyone else has also heard the similar rely.

Now here's a problem, if they are following this system.

The current status is updated 45 days later [15th of every month and status as of 45 days prior to 15th]. Now we would only come to know that our PD has passed after 45 days has passed. This is ridiculous.

Call them anyway. You will occasionally get a 'jobsworth' who has no interest in being proactive. But I've come across two people that have been helpful. Of course they're going to say not to call, but ask for a level two person anyway. If they hang up on you, call back.

Some countries get processed faster than others..

I sent my I-130 on July 21, NOA1 July 28, RFE September 14, Approved October 4 now I'm at NVC stage

Yes, the Philippines and two or three other countries get special treatment. Who knows why.

Many May filers are getting transferred. I have read it several times over past week.

i've noticed this as well in the app (as far as May 31st) i guess they're just trying to even out the workload so they can meet their 5-7 months processing time Edited October 17, 2016 by Dre876

Did anyone get an alert about the case. I got a message on the USCIS app that the Case Result Changed. But when I checked all they did was remove the words "Immigrant Petition for Relative Fiance(E) or Orphan" to "Petition for Alien Relative" all the dates etc remain the same.

Hoping that this means they are at least looking at the file

I hate to burst your bubble, but it does not look like this has anything to do with Particular service center, it seems like this is a system wide change implemented by USCIS. It only affected texts and nothing else, not even the last update date.

I don't know if this counts as a good news or not, I just received a bunch of notifications on app that many of the cases from June 1 are being transferred. At least some movement for June filers.

Hope this continues and we start getting some results soon.
