Where did you see that?

Uscis processing times on the website.

Just found out my NOA2 approved Oct 25, 2013 is still good. Was automatically extended by the embassy until one year of the last date of notification which is Dec 3, 2013. It's a race now.

Called the hotline this morning to update my address, got bumped to tier two, and after changing the address asked about the status of my case. The lady told me that it was last touched on the 8th of September, after having not been touched since June, so I'm hopeful it'll be getting an NOA2 soon. She also said that the website status is not necessarily always updated :ranting: But at least I know that somebody is putting eyes on it!!!

Phillamb: inspired by your comment, my usc called the customer care and got the call placed to talk to tier 2. our case was touched for something (god knows what) on 2nd Sept. Further, the tier 2 sup said their process takes from 6 months to an year. You have to just wait.

Nebraska changed their processing time from 5 months to now serving March 2, 2016. What the hell?

So Rick and phillamb from 5 months to 6 months to one year  what is all this? is there any one monitoring this for first come first serve or these people are picking up the cases randomly. what is happenning here? No accountability :ranting:

I was also told the "six months to a year" thing, but they will give you whatever the longest amount of time is. My understanding is that the five months is the average time. If we hit five months and still haven't seen anything, I'll be getting in touch with my senator. And yes, they appear to be taking cases randomly. Nebraska seems to be where I-130s go to die.

Absolutely ! Its like a black hole :alien:. I did lil research on what senators or congressmen can do in these matters...not much. Our senator's office proactively approached my usc that they want to help us and we accepted. This happened a month ago....but seems they could not do much that's why my usc hubby got 6 months to an year reply :girlwerewolf2xn:

My point is....plzzzzzz if you say its first come first serve basis then stick to it. I will have peace of mind that a sequence is followed and our turn will also come some day but these guys are all over. Its beyond frustrating.
