Expedite Request Completed; No Soft Touch

I tried searching for information on here and couldn't find an answer. I called USCIS May 26th and requested an expedite for my case. Later that day, my case on the USCIS website showed they assigned my request to an officer. The next day, May 27th, my case included the two messages stating a response had been sent to me and that the inquiry was completed.

I've received nothing via text or e-mail (I notice some members stating they received e-mail responses to their expedite requests). Nothing in the mail so far, but with them saying they sent it on Friday and Monday being a holiday, I expected a slight delay.

What strikes me as odd is that there is no soft touch on my case. My last update remains unchanged, on the date that I received my NOA1 hard copy. I thought there would have been a soft touch to glance over my information as they were reviewing the expedite request.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this? From what I gather, all expedite requests receive the same 3 status messages on the website, which really doesn't hint to whether it was approved, denied, or more information is needed. I saw others say that they called the automated line and their case was updated to reflect the request being approved, prior to receiving anything in the mail. I've called a few times and it remains at the NOA1 message.

I never received the answer to my expedite but I called USCIS talked to a Tier 2 and got them to read the answer to me

Thank you for your reply - I called USCIS last week and they gave me the info over the phone. My letter finally arrived yesterday.
