Got it, thanks. Mine expired 10/28/2016, so I guess I can make an info pass appointment in October this year if 751 is pending by then.

That's what I would do :)

I had my InfoPass appointment in Minneapolis this morning. It was pretty quick and painless.

I was called to a window within seconds of checking in at the front desk. The officer knew I would need an I-551 stamp before I said anything, and basically gave the impression that it's become a frequent request. He mentioned that he needed to do a quick background check before issuing the stamp, and had me wait for about 15 mins before calling me back to the window again. Then he handed back my passport and explained the purpose of the stamp. Done.

Some notes:

-He took my expired Green Card, stating that the stamp was sufficient now.

-The stamp has a raised seal and says "Employment Authorized," which is nice.

-When I asked about my case, he looked on the computer for a minute and just said that CSC is processing June 7, which of course is not new info.

The whole process was 20-25 mins.

I had exactly the same experience with this office, less than a month ago.

Im soooo happy i found this thread.

Filled june 8th of 2016 and was getting super worried.

Right now im getting a new passport to get it stamped 2 days before my conditional residency extension letter expires.

Filled in the california center, i called ucsis and they said i shouldnt be worried about needing any more proof of marriage.

Anyone else planning on filliny for naturalization? I asked and they told me its fine if i want to, but it wont go thru until my green card process is done with.

Good luck people!

I guess ill keep an eye out on my online status, so far it still says the same thing about it being accepted june 2016.

i just check the spreadsheet and realized my bio area is blank.

Can someone update that to july 29th 2016.

It was originally scheduled for 15th but had to reschedule to a later date

cause we didn't want to risk attempting a walk in with no success and losing hours on the job.

I had called to ask about walk ins and the lady had kinda discouraged me on that so we had decided

to just reschedule.

Can you provide a ton of evidence that the relationship was bonafide way before the immigrant intent?  I only ask - as I'm going through the I751 and I have been with my partner/husband 17 years, before we started this process, and we can prove it, so to say we have fabricated a marriage to create a GC opportunity - well good luck with that.

So my question stands - if you have a long standing relationship - that sadly has fallen apart recently - then just provide lots of proof of a long lasting and on going relationship, that is sadly going no further.  The usual rules should apply to GC conditions post divorce.

Red flags will only be raised, if your relationship came to being right before the GC application was raised - this may raise red flags and hence the request for more evidence.  If you have nothing to worry about - provide lots of evidence of your relationship going back years.  I say bombard them with too much evidence.  Lots of it.  Overwhelm them.  That's what I did.  Bank statements, photos, proof of co-mingling, joint credit card statements, leases, car finance, car insurance, utilities - all that stuff - going back as many years as you can.   Just prove beyond reasonable doubt they have nothing to worry about and you will be fine.

I filled i751 as waiver. Because I and my husband stayed together only for 6 months so that's the reason I have not that much evidence to prove bonafied marriage.

I send them... marriage certificate, joint bank statement for 3 months, photographs of marriage, photo together we traveled, insurance policy copies, affidavits from family and relatives who attended our wedding, police report, and medical report where my husband name is there..

but now they ask for-

joint utility bills

police affidavits

credit statements

lease statement

3rd person affidavit who know I called police

and many more..

i don't have any from these so stressed wat to do..

i have appointment with my lawyer so she will suggest something

Card Was Mailed To Me

So my next update will be very soon :) I expect to have it in my hand Monday or Tuesday unless it went out early this morning then it might be tomorrow!

It's the best worst feeling in the world!! You know it's coming, but it's just not quite there yet! Keep your eye out for that mailman. My experience of these things - mailed on a Friday - expect on Monday. If you get it tomorrow - best excuse to open that bottle of fizz in the fridge!
