I dont know if i should send them that.

thank you.

You have nothing to worry you are 80% approved. Send them the evidence of proof you sent last year and add new proof of documents you gathered since June of last year when you filed your petition. In some cases they lose the applicants papers or they just want to verify you are still married. I am pretty sure if you send them all of these in a week by June you will get your approval letter and hopefully green card. The evidence you submitted at first place is more then enough. They are just verifying your case. You have absolutely nothing to worry. Good luck

Just came back from an InfoPass appointment at the San Francisco field office.

We were told that:

- I-751 processing is very backed up right now, and could take up to 1.5 years

- our case was assigned to an officer on 5/15/2017

- extension letter extends 1 year from expiration of original green card, not the date of the extension letter

- the policy is no extension stamp unless within 1 month of expiration (he indicated there is a bit of flexibility on this, and that going back 1.5 months before expiration for a stamp is probably fine)

- not to worry about it

That's exactly what they told me when I went to my infopass in San Francisco office.

It's cool they told you when your case was assigned to an officer.

I won't be surprised if CSC takes 3-4 months (probably until end of August 2017) to adjudicate June filers.

This backlog they speak of must be very true as CSC has been processing May and early June applications since November 2016. That's 7 months!!

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

More Importantly, I am a proud Anti-Fascist!

I had to specifically ask for that information. Once I asked, the officer said "oh that's a good question, let me look that up for you." Only took him a couple of extra keystrokes to pull it up.

So if you want to know, be sure to ask.

Passed by the us border this morning, and although my extension letter expires end of July only, the officer wanted me to be checked out ... he ended up changing his mind because I was with my baby, but he Said I should so something about it. I've been trying to get an infopass appt but had no luck either.

Since Im hoping to get a stamp soon, I got a new passport cause no idea how long this thing may take. Do you think my new passport should be reported? Should I send them a new copy?

It's been so long that I had time to have a baby Lol

I am considering to send a copy of his birth certificate as well.

any advices?

Need to step out of the country in July and August again. Need a plan B.

So, because, I can't have that card that extends my green card with an year, because they give it just to refuges, soon, i will not be able to proof my legal status. :( I don't know what to do in this case. I welcome any advice.

Thanks in advance!

So my wife will be traveling overseas early June and will be coming back after the visa extension expires on June 27. I managed to get the passport stamped today for another extended year.

This morning, I realized that I didn't have my infopass appointment printed out and don't have a printer! I ended up using a photo printer and managed to print the appointment on 4X6 photo paper; it was perfectly legible thankfully. The guy at the infopass had a good laugh about that! :D

We also arrived 10 minutes late to the appointment due to severe public transport delays but thankfully no one seemed to care at the San Francisco USCIS office. All in all I'm relieved we managed to get the stamp as my wife will be traveling within a week and I would not have been able to make another appointment in time.

I went to an Infopass appointment today. My case is still awaiting security checks to come back apparently, and then it can be assigned to an officer. They stamped my passport though as my green card extension expires June 16th. He said "hopefully you'll be all set by Thanksgiving". Great. Oh well, at least I'm never out of status!

The officer just said interpol and FBI checks are taking longer now and he could see on my file that my fingerprints haven't come back cleared yet.
