I think you should call the usps customer service and ask them what happened. I belive it's a good ideea to tell them that your package is really important to arrive on the schedule day and you can't wait 2 or 3 more days late.

USPS is all automated. I've looked up "hacks" to try and by-pass and talk to a real-life person but none of them work.

Did you guys highlight your names and addresses on your supporting evidences? For example, on utility bills, bank statements and leases, did you highlight you and your spouse's names so that the IO can see it right away? or no?

Yes in ALL the supporting documents we sent in, we highlighted both our names. This does help the IO reviewing our file. We also highlighted a few other important information like tax transcripts showing "Married Filing Jointly" and for utility bills highlighted the address as well to show joint residence (since each utility bill has only one name on it).

I received the NOA1 today. Dated 06/10/2016 and from the postmark on the mail, they mailed it out on 06/13/2016 (as 11-12 was the weekend). It seems they mail out the NOA1 within 2 days of receipt.

We got ours in a week to the day, yay!! :) just received it yesterday, Thursday, and I had sent the package on last Thursday, it was received the following day. I tried to find the page to estimate what day they could've sent the NOA out but I don't think USPS site has that one specific page any more. Anyway, normally from VT to NJ it takes max 3 days. So since we got it on Thursday, I assume it was pickup by the mailperson on Monday from the VT office, it started making its way to us on Tuesday and Thursday is the 3rd day which is the day we received it. Or since our check was cashed on Tuesday, the NOA might have been mailed out on Tuesday as well, but its one of the two days :D

Anyway, ours was pretty quick, THANK GOD, cause my husband has to travel out of the country in July and would not have been back before his GC expired.

We mailed the documents on Friday, they received it yesterday, Monday. June 13th, 2016. Counting begins! I am just wondering how long before we can get the extension letter because we will be traveling outside the US in few months.

hi. I had totally forgot that we would have to update our address once we moved so neither of us submitted such forms but on the ROC we gave the current address and checked yes to question 21(or22) and filled page 11 with the previous address. We received the NOA to the current address stated on the ROC.

So you would get it at the address you list on the ROC form.

oh and just a side note. on the NOA it says the receipt time is 21:41 :o

It was actually delivered around noon but I guess it got its first review at that hour.

I mean if that is really the time they looked at it, wow they work late :o

and we complain about them being slow and everything :/

Maybe its just VT personnel but God Bless them if they are working those late hours.

Thank you sarah86. That is relief, keeping the fingers crossed, stressed out a lot on this waiver application :)
