What you think I should make a service request or I should still wait for few more days or I should talk to my lawyer???

If your NOA date is before June 7, I'd make a service request as soon as you can... get in the front of the line if possible!

I understand.

USCIS had taken 35 days to move from 31-May to 07-June filers.. (though then update says as of Feb 28 from update as of Jan 31). what they were doing in March 2017, only God will know...How many more weeks of waiting for us?.... Can't escape my frustrations however hard I try

I read an article that said CSC was getting ready to process a "bumper crop" of H1B visas (which 45 may discontinue next year so they had a HUGE number coming in this year). As of the end of March/beginning of April, they were bringing in extra staff to actually process the visas, but I'm sure the regular staff got pulled off of I751s to deal with the truckloads of visa applications during Jan/Feb/Mar.

That most likely explains some of the delays.

45 also put a freeze on Federal Government hires so the new hires USCIS was banking on to process the H1Bs most likely never happened. They probably just yanked workers off other 'non-essential' cases like i751s to process the H1Bs.

If you are VSC filer, you might have to wait before making a service request, as VSC is currently processing Feb 2016 filers according to USCIS website..

But Don't worry about filing in VSC... they will be 'matching" CSC in processing dates soon.. because CSC .. for example had up to May14th filers for >4 months.. then updated of processing up to 31-May -2016 files on 14-Mar-2017... After more than a month, on 18-April-2017, moved up to only 07-June-2016 filers...

I kinda had the feeling CSC would just swap personnel from family-based non adjustment cases to cope with the record  amount of H1b's. I think it's no coincidence that June approvals got slowed down exactly when those truckloads of H1bs got dumped at the Laguna Niguel Office. Either that or some other mysterious reason is holding it back so bad. In any case I believe the wait is almost over for us Juners filers.

There's an extensive discussion about this. You can get an infopass within 30 days of the expiry date of the one year extension on your GC. Before the 30 days they won't stamp it and just tell you to come back.

Some people have said that at least some offices are recognizing the confusion over the one-year extension (letter date vs. GC date) and are giving stamps also within 30 days of the expiration of the letter. If you live not too terribly far from an office, it might not be a bad idea to make an Infopass and explain your travel dates.

I was told by an immigration lawyer in San Francisco that if we go with proof of travel, the local USCIS office will stamp even if it is before "30 days" timeline.. Not sure how true it is neither have a personal experience

I just sent a case request to USCIS, I'm pretty sure the request won't do nothing, but now I'm in the date range to file a case request since my case was submitted on 06/06/2016 and received by them on 06/13/2016. The automatic reply said that we can expect a reply by May 10th 2017. Lets see what happen at the end.

I was checking today for the Infopass and today was accepting May 2nd appointments, as I said in a previous post I will wait until May 10th (same day of the reply) to go the infopass since I will be traveling on the 12th.

I will keep you posted on what happen in both cases.
