Hopefully, it was just a routine call but I doubt USCIS does routine calls like that so I believe it must be for a reason. I just hope it's not something important that I missed. If it is, I hope they call back again.

Wow. Okay lets just hope this april they will work on june filers and for us to see some change this Thursday will be 11months for me.

So I have been a long time lurker here.  Always enjoyed the benefit of getting updates through everyone else's experience.  I have always felt more at ease, knowing that everyone was experiencing similar wait with processing.

 

Anyhow, my case was just approved last week, after a long wait of almost 10 months.  So I wanted to take this opportunity to participate in this thread.

Case was filed at the California service center.

I am june filer received noa1 june 6. Made a mistake earlier, this 6april will be 10months for me.

Was looking up news about our CSC center, trying to find something that would at least partially explain the delay and stumbled upon this: https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/04/03/us/tech-visa-applications-h1b.html

 

It's about the record number of H1b that are being delivered at the Laguna Niguel Office. Im not sure if it affects us, or to what extent, but the massive number of trucks and the humongous amount of applications certainly made an impression on me.

Anyways, just wanted to shed some light on one of the possible reasons why CSC is being so slow..

BTW glad to see that despite the odds we are seeing progress with the new approval: congratulations and good luck to us all, we are almost there.

I received a letter in the mail that the USCIS received and changed my address, hurray! Still haven't received anything regarding my sponsor's COA but I did send it regular mail (and all the other times I sent it did take a little longer before they sent me a confirmation notice in the mail) but as long as the USCIS has the new address under MY name, the GC/approval should go to this address now, correct?

I don't know how much this affected us before now... since the "season just opened" now. But now I worry that it can hardly fail to affect us (slowing things down even more?!?!) going forward.

Yes it should go to your new address now. However, I did read about one person who missed mail because the address change wasn't programmed properly into the system. You might want to call and double check that your new address is everywhere in the system that you can control. If you can get through, just tell them you wanted to confirm that they have your address correctly entered.

Hi friends I filed my case on june 1 2016. It's almost gng to be a year and there is no update. My case is under Vermont service center. M so worried 😩. Can anybody please tell what to do??
