Yes that is correct. That's why at first he/she couldn't believe it at first when he received his/her approval letter in the mail until he received his/her actual green card.

Babslobaw sure is lucky :)

Yes. I was very surprised to have gotten it so quickly. My university did an e-verify on me shortly before it was approved, so I was guessing that was the reason my file got touched and moved fast.

No offense for the people that are already approved but USCIS needs to be consistent with their approvals because we all paid the same price. I am just so sick of them getting our money but we are not really getting the service we deserve. It may be of low priority for them but it means everything to us. I know we can just have our passport stamped to get another year just in case they are still going to be lazy and stay May 30 for another 3 months or so. In my case Id have to go to another city waste money to have my passport renewed  just in case I would need it to be stamped. That's another money wasted. I have also heard you can file for citizenship once you have been a gc holder for 3 years. So in that case other people were just wasting their money removing conditions that's taking a long ### time to process when they can just process naturalization before they can even get their 10 yr gc. Doesn't make sense to me. USCIS need to get their Sh*t straight. They don't understand that we're talking about people's time and effort here. SOO FRUSTRATING!
