I talked to one of my friend, she processed hers last year. And the processing is just 4-6 months. Is it because of the new administration?

I called the immigration yesterday, they said the papers is still on processed. Call them back in 30 days if I haven't gotten my GC. That is the time they will do some action.

Next week It'll be 9 months for me as well. They are just very slow at VSC processing these. They updated today saying as of January 2017, there were processing February 2016. So by extension, we can expect our applications to be approved in May 2017 and that's just about 2 to 3 months away :)

So no update has been made on my USCIS Case Status account. Is that normal? Ugh. How long does it usually take before you get an update on your case status profile and get your green card in the mail? Any ideas?

Don't rely on website updates. Some people are with cards on hands without any changes on website.

Some are getting emails, texts, some just a letter on the mail. USCIS doesn't seem to be following an specific protocol (unfortunately).

Hi Everyone,

I submitted my I-751 to the California center mid june 2016 and still haven't had anything yet (except for biometrics). As I read through the thread I see that is not uncommon, and last I checked the USCIS Processing Time Information has been updated to may 31st. so I'm wondering, can we trust these numbers? This is a very stressful waiting period...

thanks

The only thing we can really trust about these numbers is that they mean that no June filer is eligible to file a service request. Also, I suppose we can trust that CSC is finally making some forward progress on the I-751s (since, as many people have mentioned, prior to this month, the date hadn't changed since November.) There have been 1 or two VJ approvals from June, and hopefully this new update means that some personnel at CSC have finally been assigned back to doing I-751s (which are said to be VERY low priority with USCIS since we are technically "In Status" throughout the process, and don't risk deportation unless we are actually denied).

Good luck!

Is your timeline updated?
