We sent out our documents to support RFE on Monday, Nov 13 by priority mail. Tracking system says it arrived at destination (zip code 92607) at 11am today (Nov 15th). Does anyone have any idea how long it will take to be processed?

 I mean, PO Box for RFE docs to be sent is different from normal process. I am assuming USCIS will give priority to RFE cases. I am thinking about giving USCIS 2 weeks and them trying to ask for our congressman's assitance to contact USCIS to check the status of our case.

I heard that it would regularly take 1.5 to 2 months, sometimes longer. I am waiting for my case to hit one month long to send the service request. I just want to make sure that they got my package because I knew a situation in which the USCIS did not receive the package and requested the applicant to resend.

I sent my RFE in august nd a service request was made in October 😰 Till today there is no update.. How long more 😩

I guess I shouldn't be too hopeful then. I got another stamp on my passport this week. As long as I still can work, I am fine waiting, but I still hope to get done with this process soon tho.

filed I 751: June 28, 2016

NOA: July 1, 2016

Biometrics: July 29, 2016

Service Req.: September 30, 2017

Response: October 13, 2017 (RFE was sent on Sep 13 which I didn’t receive)

Opened a case: October 13, 2017

RFE received: October 19, 2017

RFE sent: October 20, 2017 (apparently we didn’t send enough evidence)

RFE delivered: October 23, 2017

Info Pass: October 25, 2017 (passport stamped)

Received TxT: November 8, 2017 (New Card in production)

Received Txt and email: November 15, 2017 (Card was mailed)

Received GC: November 17, 2017

Have you contacted your area's congressman? I plan to do so at the end of November. My case finally moved after I asked for congressman's help for the first time. (received RFE).  I wish USCIS notify us when they recieved documents for RFE.

How long did it take you to get the RFE after contacting the congressman? I have not utilized the assistance from the congressman. This time if it take longer than 2 months, I might do so.

Wooohoooo!!!! You gave me so much hope. Our timeline is exactly the same. The only different is that my package was sent 10 days after yours because I received my RFE letter 1 weeks after you as well. Which service center are you with?

I sent Privacy Release form to congressman's office on October 30th. The RFE letter was dated same day and mailed to me on November 4th.  Congressman's office forwarded me the email received from UCSIC to Congressman's office also on Nov 3rd.

Hope your case will be moving soon!

Congrats! I received my RFE letter 7 days after the officer at the info pass made an inquiry to state I did not receive it. And we mailed out the response today. Hopefully, we hear back soon as well.
