hhhaaahhaaaaaa You are saying it now because you got approved :P Anyway you said absolutely right and Its a good community where people can help each other out. These days if you are a CSC filer you are at the wrong end with so much waiting time.

Omg if I was a professional gambler I would have put $100 on Name O Boy calling me out by saying - ooooooh ur saying it now because you got approved.

I would be so rich right now. Sadly I doubt any bookies would give me those odds because it's a dead cert!! :D:D:D:D

I am right. And NoB knows it. ^_^

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you walk us through your interview day. The questions, the atmosphere, whether you guys were separated.

We will be super grateful.

Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't worry about interview, you would know by now if you got it I think. I got invitation for mine over a month ago and I'm a July filer.

P.s. not a criminal and no fraud on my record:D

When was ur interview. Did they tell u that u r approved same day . I had interview 3 weeks ago , I didn't hear anything yet . Please provide me information.

My interview was two weeks ago in Boston, I wasn't approved right away. The officer said he needs to review my files but promised I would hear a decision within a month.

I received approved notice 10 days after and 3 days later I received my card in the mail.

Congrats! I may also go through the interview. Could you please share what kind of questions they asked? And any tips? Thanks so much!

just be truthful.

We had a lawyer, the examiner barely asked my husband any question. I am almost 15 years older than my spouse which I thought would be an issue but was never raised. (Usually, it's the older US husband+younger foreign wife, or Older US wife+younger foreign spouse?)

He took our joint saving and investment account and disregarded all other evidence we brought in.

I think what convinced the examine was that my very pale skinned Irish American husband speaks perfect fluent Cantonese. (The examiner did ask us to have a conversation in Cantonese.)

If your marriage is bona fide, you will be approved.

Went to the Boston field office very early, questions are just normal questions you would ask a couple if you were just introduced. The examiner wasn't overly friendly (this is New England after all!) but was very respectful.

We were not separated but the examiner's questions were mostly directed at me and wouldn't let my husband answer when he tried to chip in.

There was one question asked which we both felt was awkward: "Do you plan on having kids?" I answered NO and the examiner asked my husband "Is that ok with you"   to which he answered "NO"  The examiner didn't push any further, I thought it was very awkward but thinking back, the disagreement also made us real.

Status: awaiting approval

After submitting a Service Request on Sep 18th, I received an email stating I would get a reply by Oct 10th. It was two days late, but today I got an email stating the following:

On 09/18/2017, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I751 to notify us that you believe your case is outside the normal processing time.  Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your application with Receipt# WAC********** is still pending further consideration.   We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition/application.  Thank you for your patience.

What You Can Do
Please see the "Online Services" below to check the status of your case in the near future. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

So not helpful at all. I will wait the necessary 30 days and submit another Service Request. In the meantime I am trying to arrange an InfoPass appointment, but haven't been lucky enough to schedule one. Every time I check there are no appointments available. I know I need to be checking around midnight, so I will just keep trying.

I had the same issue so I called. The first rep agreed that the timeframe was odd and put me through to a tier 2 (after a 144 minute wait...). The tier 2 said the same as your email but she did tell me to call back in 10 days and ask for a tier 2.

I think it might mean that your case has no issue. My NOA is 06/28 with CSC. I sent the service request 09/18 and received an email 10/04 saying that they sent out the RFE on 09/14. Still waiting for the letter.

I hear your pain rpaterson - hope you get your well deserved result soon.
