Last Friday got a most exciting update from USCIS. After 1 year and 3 month green card journey is over. Now I will take a deep breath and will start preparing for N-400:)

Good luck to everyone:)

This is incredibly frustrating. Today is my service request deadline and I haven't heard a thing.

Did you register to receive response by email? I received the response via email a week ago and still haven't had any mail yet. If you didn't, you could go to uscis.gov, create an account, and change the setting.

I have my email alerts switched on, is that what you're referring to or is there something specific to service requests?

I called USCIS and was diverted to a tier 2 - just waiting on my call back. Fingers crossed this triggers something.

Congrats! I may also go through the interview. Could you please share what kind of questions they asked? And any tips? Thanks so much!

I honestly think you need to knock it on the head about worrying having a separate interview.

This is a (relatively rare) event and very unlikely to happen on a second green card RoC interview.

They sometimes pull people for random interview for RoC, but unless you are under investigation and have committed a serious immigration fraud, don't even worry about this.

They should have interviewed you Dude  you would have told the I.O about the freaking 15 months wait and than hit by the damn hurricane. Good to see you in the thread hopefully you will stay in touch for sometime so you would know about my approval...oh Gosh it will be long wait. Based on my research and VJ filers input if you send insufficient evidence they call you for interview but they are pretty unpredictable. Take care.

Aha! :P Listen Boy - I'm going nowhere!! You know what I'm like. Call a spade a shovel etc.

I think my point was that being called for a "separate" interview is very rare and something that only happens when serious fraud is possibly being committed. I just wanted to reassure the poster that a "separate interview"

is pretty unusual in all aspects of this process.

A regular interview, as I said, does happen and can be random. Although it can happen if you submit insufficient evidence, the more likely outcome of that particular scenario is a RFE.

as for interviewing me, I would have done more than hit them on the head with hurricane Irma. That was a glancing blow. I'd have gone full on Maria. :)
