However, a great business model would properly train their employees fulyl, give them time out to research queries, but time is money and at the end of the day, the USCIS is  a money making enterprise and not primarily under  government control.

 

In answer to your question and to  put it in Layman's terms.... No you will  probably not receive an interview, it just means you are a pawn in a very chaotic soul sucking,  business environment,  which SEEMS to make lots of money. The only person/people to blame within this equation are the hierarchy, the directors, the board of managers, the investors, the "Fat Cats", the politicians etc, etc, etc and the reason why is they make lots of money, that does not reflect their service. Their customers are not happy with the service and I doubt the employees are happy either! 

Thanks for your replies. I understand that they have a high volume of tasks with limited employees. But I have no clue how long it takes. Some people get it within 1 month after they sent RFE, but some of us have to wait up to 6 months. That's ridiculous! I woulf prefer they give me a deadline or tell me I have to go to interview...

Haven't been following this at all recently, as had bigger fish to fry than worry about this. 

Got through hurricane Irma - house all fine, we now have power, but the garden destroyed.  Pretty upsetting as we put so much effort into creating our beautiful oasis at home over many years, but you know what, all our friends were safe, gardens can be replanted, and plants grow well here in Miami Beach, so it's the start of a new chapter. They finally lifted the curfew, and feeling less like a police state.  Still no internet, phone, or cable - thank god for AT&T lifting the data caps for Florida customers, so I can tether to my laptop etc. 

 

Anyway - too many to name individually, but many congratulations to all that have been approved in the last week or so.   

Still waiting here - June 22 - CSC.  One day maybe it will happen for me too....

I am beginning to feel the same way to. I guess my dates on the report is wrong my NOA is actually June 23rd I guess our files are on the slowest employees desk that is the only thing I can assume.

To those who have recently gotten approved, have you already sent in your N400 for citizenship?

I'm still waiting on my 10 year green card (case received June 30, 2016 at the CSC) but I applied for citizenship a few weeks ago. I wonder if that will affect my green card application.

After waiting this long I don't want to complicate the process any further so I am going to wait until I get the 10 year greencard before I submit my application for citizenship.

They may or may not combine the two if you file 400 after 751, but I believe there are two different and separate processes. The thing with CSC is the 751 applications at CSC don't seem to be moving much, so it might take two years or so, and if you file 400, I have seen anecdotal evidence that that may have to actually adjudicate both concurrently, two birds in one stole kind of situation.. It is a gamble, but by their guidelines, they are supposed to adjudicate both if 2 applications are submitted at the same time.

Got through hurricane Irma - house all fine, we now have power, but the garden destroyed.  Pretty upsetting as we put so much effort into creating our beautiful oasis at home over many years, but you know what, all our friends were safe, gardens can be replanted, and plants grow well here in Miami Beach, so it's the start of a new chapter. They finally lifted the curfew, and feeling less like a police state.  Still no internet, phone, or cable - thank god for AT&T lifting the data caps for Florida customers, so I can tether to my laptop etc. 

 

Anyway - too many to name individually, but many congratulations to all that have been approved in the last week or so.   

Still waiting here - June 22 - CSC.  One day maybe it will happen for me too.... 

Glad you're ok. Hope you get approved soon. Still waiting here obviously.

At last!  I came home from work today and had a letter with the approval of the ten year green card.   So that is a relief.  Oddly there was no text or email saying my partner was approved but just the letter.  The NOA date was 6/27/2016 and we were at the CSC.  Sometimes I think they should change the name of this website to Visalongjourney.com because it has been quite the ride.  And a lengthy one at that.   Next stop is thoughts of applying for citizenship.   We are still undecided about doing that.   Anyway, thanks for the support along the way.
