Yes @Zombie69 I don't know if you still remember me, I was the one who post here last month about my rfe asking for some ideas how to respond from rfe and you gave me some ideas too that time 😊

I remember now, congrats. Hope it helped. I might have to wait for a long long time as I am a August CSC filer.

A small update: for those that filled n400 while i751 pending , there is still hope. I just got the text that my n400 interview was scheduled, so I'll have both interviews at the same time, for i751 and n400. So glad this is almost over.

What date for the interview?

I am still waiting for the official letter in the mail. I think it should be in about a month.

Great news. Kills 2 birds and all that.

The fact your N400 has got to interview should mean a cursory rubber stamp on your I751 then onto the business the government is more interested in, and that's getting their mitts on your citizenship.

I551's (Permanent residents) are a pain in the systems's bum hole - (it's why they make this process and the AOS such a PITA) - and the sooner they get you as citizens the better.

So you got RFE and a 751 interview too? Or you are just assuming more than likely you will be asked to do both?

No, I got an email from uscis saying that they will adjudicate both i751 and n400 at the same time. They can not approve n400 without having a decision on the i751 first.

I have a question.

I'm a June 30th 2016 filer, and we all know how the story is.....but this is my question, I need to show my employer an extension or I run the risk of loosing my work pass.

I just submitted my  application for a US CBP authorization to access some places at my job, but if i don't show an extension my card may not be renewed. Here is my question can I walk into a USCIS center to get a stamp on my passport without an appointment?

I'm not worried about the time they are taking in approving the I-751, but I need to extend my badge, I need suggestion ASAP between I live in Texas now, when I filed I was living in Florida. Can I just go to USCIS center in Texas or I have to go to Florida?

Anyone living in Texas knows there are no appointments anytime.

Thanks, do you think you can send a screenshot of the email? Appreciate it if you can, thanks. How long did it take you to get this letter from the NOA date?

It was an email and They sent me this because I called them several times and put in 2 service requests.  I think I've been waiting for my gc for over 14 months now.

Interesting, I think the filling of your 400 pushes them to combine both applications. I think I will probably in the same boat as you in a few months, thanks a lot for your screenshot.

Thank a lot for the screenshot. Looks like I might be in the same situation as you in the next few months being combined!

Thanks, I'm sure you'll get approved since it's already August next month so your getting closer 😉 I got rfe on June of first week since my noa is June 28 but then I got approved on July 5, so after I send my rfe response to Vermont I think it took 2 weeks for them to approve my application. And another thing, I didn't apply for n400

I am going to apply 400 in 2 weeks, but I have heard they may combine the two pending cases into one, and I might have to wait until my 400 interview is available.

Good for you and good luck 😉 atleast when you apply for n400 that's your last journey to immigration. Me and my husband we're not sure yet when we plan to apply for n400 since we might move to other state this year or next year so we'll see, but for now I'll just enjoy my gc 😁 although it's different if you were already a citizen. And as long as we're legal in the US that's what important 😊
