You have some good evidence but be sure to also include evidence that show joint assets and liabilities. If the savings account does not list your spouse in any way, it is not useful. It needs to have him listed as a joint-owner or at least as a beneficiary (if there's such a thing) and the evidence should span the entire period of your marriage.

Perhaps while you have the time get some wills drafted, medical power of attorneys etc (These are easy to get online. You can get both within a week for about $100+). if you have a joint credit card, add the transactions for that as well.

@ MaleAlpha, thank you so very much for your reply. It spawned an idea! For the I-130, I submitted over 600 pages of skype conversation, from relationship start, until date of application submission. During the interview, my husband tried to submit portions of our conversations, (more than another 100 pgs), but the Consular Officer refused them. He stated, "No more papers!". I did not want to submit all of the pages with this application and since my husband is here, we have only iMessages, in regards to written conversations. Anyway, the idea I got, to show relationship from time of meeting, until now, is to submit many Facebook print screens on printed pages and a note, in the cover letter, to say that my husband's profile is public. They can view it and see our family interaction. :D

Anyway, I submitted our case Friday, one day later than expected. I had to edit the cover letter and reprint some of the evidence, bc I had called the Customer Service number and spoke with two different reps. I asked them if I could block/white out the bank account numbers and a document from hubby's employer, with his discount purchasing code. The reps said the docs have to be unaltered and any change would void their validity to becoming evidence. :( I was stumped bc I see, on here, all of the time, where ppl submit info with blocked out account into. By the way, I have no idea if the I=751 (ROC) Customer Service Line wait is as long as it was for when we would call for the I-130 status, but I was able to find a way through their number maze, to get a CSR in less than 30 seconds!!! Pressing all of the numbers takes longer than the wait time I had for each of the three times I called this last Friday. Okay, here are the numbers:

1, *, 4,1,3,2,6

Of course you have to wait for each new menu to load for a few seconds before pressing the next button. TBH IDK if you have specific case questions if they will transfer you to another operator, but mine were general questions about the blocking out and the request to be transferred to the ISO.

Crazy thing, as I wrote in my original post, I could not get into the Ellis account, to get the the Ellis number. I tried emailing them, but the reply was to call the Customer Service number and request an ISO/Tier 2 Officer. Needed hubby with me, during their business hours, (hubby works Sunday to Thursday, from 7am, to 530pm). :( This past Friday, I called and was able to be put into their call back queue. The automated system said I would get a call back in 67 mins. I waited more than two hours. No call back. :( So, hubby said, just submit it without it. I was at the Post Office. The envelope was sealed and I was making the transaction, when my phone rang. It was the USCIS ISO/Tier 2 Officer Line calling me back. I grabbed the envelope and said to the PO Rep, "I am sorry, but I have to come back." The call was an automated service that asked if I wanted to talk with an officer now or have them call back in ten mins. If their ten mins is anything like their 67 mins, I was not chancing waiting for that call, (PO was about to close in the next 45 mins.). I quickly drove home, while I was in their waiting queue. The rep answered like a min before I got home. So, I kept asking her to repeat herself bc I could not hear her. lol shhhhhh. this gave me time to get inside and get to my hubby, to give the authorization for them to talk with me. :D YAY!!! We got the Ellis number before I mailed!!!!!! I am making a huge deal about it bc I was so paranoid that by not having that box filled-in would trigger an RFE letter. ......

This is a pasting of my cover letter. Here, I replaced our names with "Petitioner" and "Spouse" and other identifying names with generics. I hope they find it sufficient to show proof of bonafide marriage. :D I used a sample cover letter I found online and then just edited it to suit our needs.

Great idea calling USCIS and getting the ELIS number prior to mailing out the package. I am not sure if it causes RFE's but with USCIS, you never know so it's good you didn't take the risk. You have good evidence and you should be fine. Quick question though - with the bank statements, did you include a number of them spanning the time since the account became a joint account? If not, don't sweat it since you've already sent it in. It's not a stated requirement but advised (from posts I've seen around here). Keep us all updated on how things go. Good luck to us all!! :-)

We do not have a joint checking account. The bank account is a savings account. I included the following, as it was opened once Petitioner entered the country.

1. The account details, showing both of our names, the account and routing numbers and our address

2. The opening statement, showing the account number, both of our names and our address

3. The most current statement, showing the same information as the opening statement

We, as many other married couples do not share checking accounts. I had a very bad experience with my ex-husband, the month prior to my separation bc we shared a bank account. He had emptied it and I had no funds..... For that reason, I will never share another checking account with anyone. However, we do share a savings account.

Thank you for your input and assistance. :D

Hope the rep reviewing our case finds the evidence sufficient.

Has any of we June Filers, filing at the VSC, yet to receive their BIOMETRICS appointment notice? I noticed some filers at the CSC have received theirs and it is about four weeks from NOA date. But I am curious about the VSC.

Nobody, who paid the immigrant fee before August 31, 2015 had access to the ELIS account. I don't think that anybody wrote down the ELIS number (what for?). I don't think that anybody wasted time to call and ask for it. I don't think that anybody will get RFE for not having this number in the petition. The A# matters.

very good to know. That may explain why the ISO stated, " you are the first to ask for this. is it really on the form? which form are you using" she checked the form and said, 'oh yes, there it is." so, bc no one else asked, I think , you are correct, no one bothered. I am so paranoid about getting an rfe for not having the most menial of things. so I just felt more comfortable having it. and btw: the section is not long enough to fit all of the digits. if you use the alpha prefix, not enough room. if you omit it, there are two extra spaces. ugh. the ISO told me to just write in the number. watch, after all that, I will get an rfe..... eh, it is what it is. :D just go with the flow ..... ;)

That makes sense. I don't think it's a requirement and as a matter of fact, joint accounts are only common here but not in several other countries so I wouldn't expect USCIS to expect everyone to have one. It's just one of the several ways to show commingling of assets - which you have shown in the evidence in your list.

Now it's on to the big wait till the cases get adjudicated. Hopefully they get worked on quickly! :-)
