New Card Is Being Produced

On July 6, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC1618150397, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

FINALLY I just received a case status update email that my card is being produced as of July 6th and will be mailed to the address I have on file.

Took 1 year and 27 days. Hate to say this but I wasn't really excited like I was when I received the conditional green card. My mood this time around was  '..whatever'. I guess the long delay squeezed out all the joy in me lol. Glad to know though I don't have to keep checking the status of this process any longer.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting on their cards. I will update once I receive my card.

And just so you know, I didn't receive any text messages. Just an email with the status update.

(Moderator's I intentionally did not mask my case information as it's pointless to mask it anyway. It's already information publicly available on the USCIS site and nobody can do anything with it unless they have a combination of my other information such as address, full name, DOB etc. I just figured it will help folks to get an idea on the progress of their cases relative to mine).

Congratulations man! I've been following your progress and I know how you feel. Your postings pretty much mirror how me and my wife think. Enjoy the unconditional residency and finally get some rest from all this. 👍🏻

Thank you Sir! I do follow your posts a lot as well. Looks like it may not be 1.5 years after all but more like 13 months. If you're past a year, you will most likely get your approval within the 13th month. All the best and keep us posted about your case.

How long did it take to receive the card after you received the notification of approval/card in production?

Yes, NYC is my local office, and approval letter came from there, instead of VSC. But still no card in hand or online status update for I-751.

Anyway you got the approval letter. It's better than mine.

Hi! First I thought my approval letter came from the local office as well, because there is an office room number on the letter, but after I checked who signed the paper, and checked the envelope I realized the letter is from Vermont. But I heard some people got it from local office, just like yours. I got approved on 6.27.2017. Still nothing else changed on the website, but I am sure you going to get soon your card, you don't have to worry.

You are right, envelope says VT:) I m just wondering if I ever receive it since I filed N-400 week after the approval letter. Should I be even waiting for it? Or do I need a stamp, as I ll be traveling outside the US soon.

Depends, when you plan to travel. What I see ,everyone got they card in a a month after the letter. Once your case change to card is procuction, only a few days and the card going to be in your hand. I checking every day,and hoping is very soon they send it! But like I said you don't have to worry, you are approved,so the hardest part is over!

About the i-551 stamp, is it possible to get it AFTER the 1 year mark of GC expiration date? I have been reading this post for a long, long time, so I know I am not out of status, but now I am thinking about travel in December, and might need the stamp if ROC is still not approved by December.
