I am having the same issue too. I have heard that you can try after midnight and early morning or something. I almost made an appointment last week during the week around 10:30, but I was in a hurry, so I didn't make the appointment, i should have just done it. Anyway, i guess you just need to keep trying.

Best time to try is 12:30 am..i couldnt find one either so i waited up for 12 midnight when a new day start...

Couple of tips about infopass appointments- 

1. They seem to open up at midnight, 12am. Now is that E, C, MT, or P? I don't know that. But I have seen wide open availability at my local office just after midnight ET. 

2. If you are in a big metro area like me (Miami) there are many other field offices close by (Hialeah, Kendall, Ft Lauderdale), so look around. Google the uscis address, get the zip, and then see if they have appointments. 

You don't have to go to your nearest. Any uscis office will see you. 

Example - Miami office often very busy, but within 1 hour drive you have 3 other offices, many of which often have infopass availability. 

 

Just a couple of suggestions for those having trouble booking appointments.

I just got the passport stamp since time is running out on the letter and am looking to travel for two or three weeks. does anyone know how much notice they give for interviews since I don't want to be out of country when they schedule an interview and have to rush back for it.

 

was able to get it stamped with just my expired green card and passport in the la field office. took about 45 minutes in total I did have an apointment though.

Hi, assume you are removing conditions. In which case, I think an interview is very unlikely if you haven't received an RFE, and your case is mostly straightforward without any issues. 

I wouldn't worry. 

Do you have any reason or issue that may lead to an interview? 

If you do get one, I can't help on the lead time - maybe someone else can.

I have tried many nearby cities, also the same issue. I tried all the way in Palm Springs and it took me to the San Bernideno office. San Diego, San Francisco, all having the same problem. In Los Angeles, there seems to be only the only office where I did my interview for the AOS. However, I will try other field offices, but  the USCIS phone agent told me making appointment on line is the only way though. I asked her if i could go to the local office, she told me no. Thanks for the info.

Also I am having a real hard time booking an infopass. Any advice??

 

Infopass window is opened between 12am CT to about 6am CT. That window allows you to only see the 14th day from the very day you see an opportunity. For example. If you were on the site on July 1st (between 0001-0600 CT), you can only see opening for July 15th. 

Again, say you were on the site on July 15th between the said times, you can only book for July 29th. And goes on and on. 

Remember between working days at 1200am-0600am approximately.

Do you all know if I took an appointment out of town that they would stamp my passport? I couldnt get in Houston, but I could get an appt. in San Antonio. Its a 3-4 drive but just didnt know if I should even try.

Definitely. Uscis is a federal entity. As long as it's just a stamp, any local office across the country should be able to take care of that. It's comprehensible that doesn't play out when it comes to state ID or license or other things within any state's jurisdiction, but we are talking about a federal Id. Therefore, any local office across the country should be able to give you the required stamp on your passport.

Just keep on looking - I just checked around the area to Philly as I'm going there this morning to see family, and managed to get one on Wednesday morning in Washington DC. I'll have a 2 hour drive to get there, but it's suddenly become an emergency. I was lucky to see it.

I finally made an appointment with the Santa Ana office which is about 50 minutes away from Los Angeles. I will go in for the info pass on the 17th. And the Los Angeles office was briefly available again this morning, but the appointment was tomorrow morning which is too early as the USCIS told me it should be within 30 days after the expiration date on my NOA.(I think it should be from the green card's expiration date, but oh well, there have been conflicted reports anyway).

So I did a case inquiry a while back with no response. Called USCIS about 2 weeks ago and was told that after my inquiry my case was assigned to an officer and I should hear back by June 30th. Haven't heard from them. So I scheduled my infopass for today and they told me it is pending, but mentioned that my i751 is now in the same folder as my N-400. 

 

I guess my i751 will now be forever delayed. I was so close lol, my NOA is 06/08/16 and most of you guys are already approved. I filled N400 on 06/08/17, NOA 06/13/17. 

Go figure
