Similar case and don't know what to do, fill again with a divorce waiver and wait forever or risk it waiting the papers to come in the next few months? If they weren't so slow, my case would be approved already and I wouldn't have this dilema. Worried also that if I wait the papers to show up and divorce afterwards I would have issues in the future for my N400. Any advise? 

The lady ask me to write a letter notifying USCIS of the separation...she set up an appointment for me to take back the letter the next day...when i went back she told me my case is still pending so she will attach it to my file and i must not do anything else until uscis notify me...she say i must not Ask for it to be amended worst case scenario they might call for an interview so i can give my testimony and the officer will either approve it or let me know what i need to do there caz am not divorced so its still joint and marriage was in good faith when i filed...and she also told me to keep all messages that my husband sent about getting me deported and to let him know he dosnt make the law they do and he cant get me deported.

She also told me if uscis find out you separate without notifying them its a problem....its better to let them know a head.

Thank you so much for sharing, really appreciated. My problem is we are separated (not legally separated) and still living in the same house. Marriage was in good faith, I thought he was the love of my life but he became this selfish, aggressive and disloyal person and we are in a really bad spot right now and we will divorce eventually but we agreed I'm not living the house or starting any divorce process until I reorganize my life (finding a good place to live for example, etc) Do you still think I should write a letter to USCIS?

i  would suggest wait  a few weeks to see if you hear some good news before you possibly make it more complicated.  if you are divorced you have to notify them. otherwise you don't have to ( i believe)

Any more movement with Vermont? I'm noticing that they are starting to approve July yet there are several of us in June who have yet to hear about a decision. So frustrating!

If you are still living together no you dont have to just that if they call you for an interview both of you must go...i situation i moved to another state so i had to change address .

I know, I'm June filler too. June 28, uscis just received my rfe response yesterday so I'm still waiting on what's gonna happen. Hoping for approval and hope it won't take long for them to decide. Good luck to all of us

Yea i had to becaz i moved and change address and my husband keep threatening me thats why i reported mine....and if they call you for an interview both have to go....i have alot of proof for my abuse i couldnt stay there i had to move far from him...am not getting family therapy me and the kids...

N-400 Timeline San Francisco field office (Marriage with an US citizen and 3 year of LPR):

08/15/2017 (day 000): N-400 application was filed online on ELIS

08/22/2017 (day 007): Biometrics appointment was scheduled for 9/8/2017 

08/28/2017 (day 013): Early walk-in biometrics was completed

01/03/2018 (day 141): Interview appointment was scheduled for 2/6/2018

02/06/2018 (day 175): Interview was completed and the case was recommended for approval

02/12/2018 (day 181): Oath ceremony was scheduled for 3/15/2018

03/15/2018 (day 214): Oath ceremony was competed and I am an US citizen!
