One year, 7 days here. You are not alone. And this is not normal.

It might take even longer. It might take 1.5 year or more.

Hello csc filers, I called around June 2nd and asked to speak with a tier 2 officer. After the conversation, I got a RFE few days later. I will recommend you let them handle their businesses with no much stress or you will probably make them overextend your application by sending you a RFE.
My NOA is June 13th. Most of you all should get one form of notification or the other, hopefully approvals, latest by July month end.

Best wishes to all of us.:jest:

USCIS made a mistake in my last name on the NOA. My lawyer sent a request to change it. When I check my case status, it says that the name was changed. However, I didn't get a new NOA. My lawyer says it's fine. They usually don't do that. I need to travel soon and I'm a little worried that one letter in my last name is wrong. Do they look at alien # only?

Oh god, I have a friend who had similar problem when USCIS misspelled his name, and you have to file to have them correct it, he did so and it took them 11 months just to correct his name, so heads up...

As I said, they corrected it. And it took just 2 weeks for them to do that. I asked, is it safe to travel with NOA with misspelled name? they didn't send me a replacement for NOA. My lawyer said they don't do that and just correct the mistake in the system.
