I just got my NOA today! So happy. :)

Dated 6.13. Got it through mail on the 19th which is today! Now just have to wait for the Biometrics scheduling! I think I am safe to travel now out of the country right? Coz it say's one year extention including work and travel. I am taking some time off this summer until I am done with traveling outside the country.

I see that a couple of users who sent in the application around the same day I did have already received the NOA. I haven't received mine yet and the cashier's check hasn't been cashed yet either. The address they mail it to is the address in page 2 of the application 15.b to 15. e right? Should I be concerned?

And it also looks like the checks are cashed after the NOA's are sent out. Is that normal?

congrats! U dont need 551 stamp after gc expires to travel? Coz then i might take a trip myself :D

Yes you should be free to travel with the extension letter. Read a number of experiences here where people easily traveled with it. Seems the Airlines and Airport personnel have a good idea what it represents.

No you dont and yes you can just travel with the extension letter. Several people have done it and shared their experiences on VJ.

Does anyone know if the 1 year extension applies to the date the NOA was issued, or the conditional green card expiration date?

Yayy! Finally mailed our package today. It turned out to be 5 pounds heavy and about 5-6 inches thick! Phew!! It is expected to be delivered tomorrow due to our close proximity to Laguna Niguel.

2/28/2017 (Day 254) - Spouse received call from immigration officer verifying if we still lived together at our current address. He ended the conversation by saying we our approved and no need for interview

3/3/2017 (Day 257) - Received approval letter in the mail! 

3/13/2017 (Day 267) - Online status updated - new card being produced

3/16/2017 (Day 270) - Online status updated - new card was mailed to me

3/20/2017 (Day 274) - 10 year green card on hand!!
