Its not accurate guys. Remember, people with a NOA date beyond june 9th received their approval. I know, seeing this is frustrating but this is for april 30th, ie ON APRIL 30TH THEY WERE REVIEWING UP TO JUNE 9TH

I agree. Their dates aren't accurate. I assume they post these dates to check if they missed someone while they are working on June 17th applications for example.

Im a late july filer and i kind of evaluated the june trending. Of course there are exceptions but the waiting is about a year or so. I cant wait to be over this.

To think that (though it doesn't help) last year, after 6 months one of my auntie got her approval... Oh well.

Theoretically, you are correct the dates should be reflecting processing times as of April 30th but unfortunately this is not the case practically as only a few early June 2016 filers have been approved as of June 2017.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

Wow... almost at a loss for words. Only moved 2 days for CSC in a month?! <<sigh>>

Actually, it's more than a month. Remember the June 7th date was originally set on April 18, 2017. In last month's update, it still remained June 7th. So in 3 months, USCIS only moved 2 days!!..very impressive smh

Ah! Yep, you are totally right. :-)  Forgot about that. Wow! Such progress they've made <<insert eye rolling sarcasm here>> LOL

Well, not much we can do anymore but wait...at the mercy of USCIS.

Awaiting Oath Ceremony for Citizenship! Last step!

Yes, it certainly seems as though CSC has pretty much stopped approving I-751s for the last couple of months. As if maybe there's one person still working on them, and everyone else has been pulled onto another task. (Like H1Bs?)

Who remembers what the last official date was at VSC? I know they were still creaking along very slowly until May, when they finally started moving. Did the new (April) date move forward significantly, or basically stay the same? At least then we might have an idea of how accurate the dates are in context.

Is your timeline updated?

Hi All,

I have been reading this forum for quite some time now, but only registered today, so nice to meet you all!

I am a July 1st filer at CSC (so technically not June, even though my package was sent out in June). Today (my GC+1 yr extension would expire on July 12th) I went to USCIS infopass appointment and got the stamp in my passport, good for one year. A number of you mentioned it looks legit, imho it still looks unconvincing for somebody who doesn't know the details of this process, but again, may be I'm wrong. The officer said this is likely to take 2 years now, so wait for another year...I hope we wasn't serious. ANyway, just wanted to share my experience.

I am considering contacting the state reps and senators now, will likely do it soon.

Thanks everyone.

I think it's a "safe date". It means: they know that all cases (or almost all of them) submitted by this day are already processed. They want to avoid people submitting inquiries for cases outside normal processing time.
