And they answer to you, for me is the first time that I submitted since until now I was in the normal processing time.

For those members here that already submitted a request to their Senator or their Representative in the Congress, any follow up from them? It is worth to submit it or is waste of time?

Called for a status update, was only told a service request was opened and allow 60 working days for a response. (Translates to 3 months)

Finally!!! I got approved!!!

New Card Is Being Produced

On July 12, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number xxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

NOA: june 13 2016 from CSC.

If it's real... nice! Is this a fake account?

If you're VSC you have nothing to worry, you will be approved very soon.

If not - meaning if you are CSC - then prepare yourself for a loooong wait; I'd say at least 6 more more months for June 30, and that's being optimistic.

That if the 2 days per month pattern continues, of course, which unfortunately seems to be the case.

Very very hard to believe this is actually happening.

Where do you get those 6 months from?

I'd have to say it's a waste of time. We sent letters to both our Senators and our one Representative. They were all responsive, looked into the situation and then reported the same thing that we were told when we called USCIS  - our case was within the normal processing time. Any hope we had that congressional scrutiny would move things along was sheer fantasy.

Meanwhile, we have an acquaintance who arrived in the US months after us, filed their AOS 2 years late and now have 10 year-GC's. It's hard not to get angry.

The wait is very frustrating. I believe you should get your approval in week or two. Your case is now outside of normal processing time so you can go online and file the "case outside of nornall processing inquiry". USCIS updated their processing timeline today. CSC is now working on June-15-16 cases. I am sure pretty soon you would be approved may be in few days. Thanks
