k1 visa, k2 visa. childern visa

I was trying to pay visa fees for my children to come and join me and i came with K1 visa to the state..what kind of visa application to fill for my kids. K1 or k2 and can pay it online here as well..pleasure folks advise me. Thanks.

If you are applying for a K-1 Visa then your children would be a K-2 Visa

Here are the rules. If over a year you must file a I-130 on each child and pay the fees

Minor children who are identified and listed in the approved I-129F petition may follow-to-join their petitioned

parent. However, such follow-to-join K2 visas can only be issued within one year from the time the parent

was issued the K1 visa. After one (1) year, they will no longer be able to derive immigration benefits from the

I-129F petition and you or your spouse will have to file an immediate relative or second preference petition for

them to qualify again for immigration benefits.

You are making this very confusing. First you ask what forms to file now you talking about paying. Please answer he following so we can advise:

1. Exactly where are you in the process to petition your children?
2. How long has it been since you immigrated to US on a K1?
3. Where online are you talking about paying anything. No Visa fees are paid online at USCIS or before Embassy interview. So confusing what you are trying to do.

I would contact the consulate first and ask what steps to take in order to get the K-2 though. And make sure your K-1 was issued less than a year ago, and that there is enough time to apply and interview for the K-2 before the year mark.
