CSC says case closed...what does this mean?

After waiting 55 days after my NOA2 approval and NVC not receiving yet, I called CSC to see if my case has yet been forwarded.

I was told the case now shows closed. I am hoping this means they have finally mailed it to the NVC.

I was not able to get a tracking number or speak to a supervisor, so I still feel like I am left in limbo of still not know where my case is.

So does anyone know if case closed means finally mailed?

Thanks!

your NOA2 shows your case number from CSC. Did you check your case status online?

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Did you call NVC?

Yes I have checked my case and no new updates.

I called CSC this morning and they told me my case was closed, but was not able to see if/when it was mailed and would not let me speak to a supervisor.

I called NVC yesterday and they still have not received it.

I was just hoping someone would know if them saying case closed was in other words finally mailed.

yes, but I will make my weekly calls to NVC and hope soon to have my case number.

I can't see where it would be too difficult to add the tracking number or a date when the case has left USCIS.

The NOA2 reads... The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center.

I will just wait and hope it moves along more quickly and before the valid from date expires August 6.

that was 2nd tier officer. (if that is what you call when they call you back) He said there was nothing else they could do.

No, I asked for a tracking number and to speak to a supervisor. I got neither.

in the beginning he was helpful, but after @ 3 times on hold he came back and was very short with me and said there was nothing else he could do and hung up on me.

He said my case was closed and to contact NVC. So I am thinking that it was mailed, I just don't know when. I know it was still there last Tuesday when I talked to them.
