K-1, under AP; estimated time? [split topic]

hi there i am on a k1 visa and i am also under administrative processing. i've sent my documents last may 6 and 2go told me that the us embassy have received it on may 10. i checked the website and it was last updated this may 13. up until now it says ap... i was wondering when will be the estimated time to receive my visa?

No one can say for sure. Usually 2-3 weeks after answering an RFE. Where you are in the process is going to take a little more time. They are reviewing your record totally before rendering their final decision. You should hear from them shortly. Keep following your case on CEAC.

The embassy works on its own clock. AP could be days, weeks, or months. Hang in there!

Just want to know from OP how long it took for him to get visa.

Same situation here. GF interviewed Aug22. I became a dual citizen because I studied in the Philippines, didn't think i'd need a CENOMAR (completely forgot i was dual) so they asked for my CENOMAR. Soon after the interview, she went to NSO pasay to request it and said will be picked up friday, August 26. Also they asked for proof of relationship. (I honestly don't know why they didn't ask it from her at the window but anyways.) Sent those the same day of her interview. Last update at CEAC was Sept 1st then I inquired if they have received our documents on September 7th via email, they confirmed they received it and still my status is in AP and was updated same day 7th. It's going to 3rd week since interview date. I am starting to get worried since my cousin had the same issue where they asked for cenomar too and her visa came in after 3 months. Hoping ours will not be that long of a wait.

The OP has not been on since May 31 2016 08:44 PM so I doubt you will get an answer.

No one knows or can predict with any certainty when you will get your visa after a 221(g). Just have to keep checking and have patience.
