Just wanted to share something and want to confirm with whoever going to get CC in upcoming days.. I noticed few changes after CC beside 3 N/A .. At the same page of N/A on top right corner where it mentions Case number and visa class .. With 3 N/A it shows current processing site as NVC and "foreign state of chargeability" : ( country name )

I guess " foreign state of chargeability " was not there when I had 2 N/A or before CC ..

Can anyone confirm this ? If so this is a sign of CC as well with 3 N/A ..

It was there before

Well, people with my same scan date have been getting CC today... :dancing: Gosh, the waiting... :clock:

This waiting is upsetting!!!! What happens with the 27th? .... oh my gosh it is killing me... We called yesterday and they said to keep waiting for even two more weeks...Like Really? we have been waiting for two months now.... I am just hoping for not more check lists...

I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because, this distance is nothing compared to our love.

10/2013 we met at church in USA, through some common friends. We became friends.

06/07/2014 we went to our first date. :dancing: Why did we take so long to go out? :ranting:

06/22/2014 I said YES.. I want to be your girlfriend... :luv:

07/16/2014 I had to come back to Colombia because my program was over

10/10/2014 My love met me in Colombia to spend my birthday weekend with me. We got engaged (L)

02/17/2015 - 03/09/2015 He came back to Colombia to visit me and met my family. :star:

05/12/2015 We couldn't stand the distance, so he decided to move here with me.

05/28/2015 We got married at the notary. 06/06/2015 We got married at church :D

12/03/2016  Moved back to the USA. 🥰

08/2020 Became a Citizen. 🇱🇷

08/2020 Applied to bring my mom. ❤️

  • on my I-864 do I put "0" if the income is foreign (below US poverty limit) and it will not continue once we get to US. We have a joint sponsor Yes
  • do i check the box that i am using my husband's income on i-864 or no since his income is like mine No can't use if its foreign and not going to continue in US.
  • is it needed for me/him to obtain a letter from my/his employer in Europe which states i'm/he's currently employed. Nope not necessary.
  • do i need to proof assets if i have a joint sponsor. Nope

What docs did you use instead of W2? And how long should I wait before requesting a transcript (I still haven't filed for last 3 years)?

We used our yearly income sheets. My accountant at work prepares those there are called here GIP. We found a tax accountant in Serbia that is licensed American. Since he knows Serbian we did not have to translate anything and he prepared our taxes for us. I have not filled since 2008 till 2015. But because I did not work much before 2012 and my income was very very low I was not requred to. But I filled 2012-2015 including my husband salary. Even though he is not USC IRS gave him a number for foreign spouses to file married jointly.

I requested a tax transcripts in May and have not gotten anything. But I do not need them since our salary will not count towards the I864. We have a joint sponsor.

I see. So what you are saying is that if I have a joint sponsor, there is no need to submit a transcript? Our sponsor has submitted 2015 taxes plus I-864 plus evidence of US status.
