I just called NVC.. And I was told CC.. But I don't see 3 N/A in ceac.. How do I know when they will be sending the file to consular ?

Ahhh Feeling relieved .. I wish everyone quick CC !!!

Dwheels please add me to the spreadsheet ?

Congratulations you have been added t the spreadsheet. Your case file gets sent to embassy only after you have been assigned an interview date. Usually they get sent after that 3 to 4 weeks before interview.

You can always watch your ceac visa status to change to In Transit than READY. READY is when your case file is at the embassy.

So now you are just in the queue waiting for your date. Congrats.

I am so bummed right now with my bank! I am currently on hold with NVC because I guess my bank didn't let the payment go through.... It was my mistake because I put my savings account instead of my checking....Has anyone had this problem? Do you think this will mess up the Visa process?

Thats correct to the " visa interview" not to NVC.

The OP was asking about Passport photo to be sent in to NVC.

Its not require to be sent in to NVC BUT its required for the Visa interview.

You're right! The "NVC Process" on VJ said to include photographs and that's why I thought they were required. Maybe that used to be the case and has changed. Either way, good to know. Thank you!

If you look at the list all the docs thats needed to be sent to NVC specifically says send to nvc and take originals to the interview. If you look at the photograph section it only says bring to interview it doesn't state to send to NVC.

Nothing is wrong with sending the photos but its not required for NVC.

Yes at first I was gonna send it in because I read the guides and it does say to send them in but after reviewing the state website I realize it does not require the photo for NVC only at the interview. I went with the source.

Just want to confirm that it is needed for NVC stages to sent photographs or not as MS Burgz informed us all about it i agree with her but want to confirmed from all of you as mentioned on the NVC website that it is for interview " You and each family member accompanying you must bring two identical 2 x 2 inch (51 x 51 mm) color photographs to the visa interview. The photographs must meet the Department of State’s"

As the prior OP post comfirmed that its not needed so don't worry about trying to get new ones. Just have the new ones for the interview. Good luck.

Hello I was thinking of mailing my AOS and IV to NVC using FEDEX because I want to add some pictures from other trips together and a few other relation things. I know I could use electronic filing to China but really want to add this stuff and its too much I think to email... Does any one know if they fly the I 130 and NVC packets over to China or scan and email? Does anyone know if sending my in by mail rather than electronic file slow it down more than the few days it take to get there by FEDEX?
