my friend sent me a cover letter which she mentioned there what she sent to NVC

I-864 coversheet (with barcode)

AOS fee payment receipt

i am confused what the difference between these two things " I-864 coversheet (with barcode)

AOS fee payment receipt ??

Hello everyone I'm new to the NOA2 stage. I was just approved yesterday 6/17.... I have a trip planned leaving next Thursday for China for a 2 week visit with my wife. I won't be back until 7/6.... I have most of my documentation together so I can send in on my return. my question is I don't want to lose anytime not being able to start the process form 261 ect. also paying fees on line. Can someone give me some suggestion on keeping the ball rolling even though I won't be in US? Also was going to send in AOS and IV through fedex over electronic because I would like to add some pictures from 2 trips with wife that happened after I sent in the i130 and cant do that if I Efile....How much time do you think this will sacrifice and do you think its worth doing?

You'll be fine. If your petition was just approved yesterday, it will be at least 2-4 weeks before your petition reaches NVC AND they have your case number and invoice numbers ready for you to even start your part in the NVC process.

Enjoy your trip and make sure you read through the NVC process.

Our case was just sent on the 17th as well. Sometime next week, NVC will receive it. Then after that, within 1-2 week they will assign the case number.

Call the NVC sometime next week (Wednesday or Thursday I'd guess) and to know when have received it. After that, call them once every few days, or even everyday, until you get the NVC case number. You will have to ask for - NVC case number, Invoice ID Number (for the AOS bill that you pay online at ceac.state.gov), and give them your email address. That's all for now. Once you get your case number and the Invoice ID number, you'll fill out DS-261 form online and pay the AOS fee.

The number is 603-334-0700. They are open from 7 AM to midnight Eastern time, and you could be on hold for a very long time (30-60 minutes).

The payment receipt isn't necessary.

Are you serious? 8 days ago you did post the same question in your own thread and you´ve been given information on where to find the information you need. And now you´re asking again (twice even)?

Sorry pal, we´re all here to help but you´ve got to get at least somewhat familiar with the process on your own. You can´t expect ppl to explain the entire process to you "in a nutshell".
