Can I submit a letter of explanation about some documents i sent to the NVC through email?( I sent everything by physical mail until now.)

As far as I know you can't. On the NVC website (Submit Documents to NVC)it says: "Once you select a method, you cannot switch methods later in the process."

But you could still call them and ask I guess.

USCIS Stage

I-130 petition sent: 8/4/2015

NOA 1: 8/17/2015 (NSC)

RFE recieved: 01/15/2016

RFE response sent: 01/23/2016

I-130 petition approved: 02/5/2016

NOA 2 recieved: 02/16/2016
Case sent to NVC: 02/17/2016

NVC Stage

Case recieved: 2/24/2016 (called NVC)

Case# & IIN recieved: 3/4/2016

DS-261 submitted: 3/4/2016

AOS fee paid: 3/11/2016

Revieved DS-261 via phone: 3/8/2016

Recieved IV-Bill: 3/9/2016

Paid IV-Bill: 3/12/2016

Sent AOS / IV Package: 3/16/2016

Submit DS-260: 3/17/2016

NVC Scan Date: 3/18/2016

Yup, that's the standard welcome letter. Keep in mind there is a N/A column because they use the same cover sheet for all different types of visas so if there is something listed that does not pertain

God, i am looking unto you for divine speed and favour concerning my case complete. 2nd scan date was may 5th, still no cc. We wil surely get thru this nightmare.

Ironically, I called the NVC after my last post and they told me Case Complete. I cant believe its true. I will call again tomorrow to confirm with another agent one more time. I don't see the 3 N/A on NVC site either, maybe it will get updated later.

Btw, you guys are lucky with CR1 case since you do not need to wait for Visa Availability. I am FA2 case so I have to have many many more months after my case complete for an interview (assume visa will be available).

I'm currently freaking out because I logged into the CEAC website and see 3 N/A's!! I found out this morning my scan date is June 13th and not June 15th like the rep told me on the phone. As soon as the lines are no longer busy I'm going to give a call to confirm!!!

I received an email and text that my I130 was Approved today ( 6/17/16 ) I was at the Potomac Center PD date was 3/11/16... I will start looking over this thread for info..Hoping I'm on the right forum for the NVC stage.

Timeline


03/09/2016: I-130 Sent
03/11/2016: USPS Delivery Confirmation
03/15/2016: NOA1 text/E-mail
03/17/2016: NOA1 I-797 by reg. mail ( PD date 03/11/2016 )
06/17/2016: NOA2 Received text and email

06/28/2016: NVC received

07/11/2016:Submit DS-261

07/12/2016: Received DS-261 / AOS Bill

07/13/2016: Receive IV bill and paid IV bill

07/14/2016: Sent package IV package

07/15/2016: DS-260 released and completed

07/15/2016: Scan date

08/16/2016: Case Complete

08/18/2016: Received interview letter today interview scheduled for /09/28/2016

09/28/2016: Interviewed and approved !

10/01/2018: Filed I-751to remove conditions

10/09/2018: Received Text saying case received  ( Nebraska )

10/10/2018 Check cashed

11/19/2018: Received the 18 month extension letter in mail 

07/02/2019: Biometric Appointment.

09/09/2019: Received notice new card is being produced

09/16/2016: Received 10 year Green Card

April 18! 2 months ago! So I was expecting a case complete for a loooong time! lol

I checked the CEAC today and I have 3 N/A today. So I am assuming I have a case complete or would they show the 3 N/A for a checklist. I cannot call until Monday morning. I will be in knots until I talk to a live person just to verify this.

I did the same too! We're almost there!

Everyday I check CEAC only to see AOS say "PAID". Today on a Saturday, out of habit checked the AOS to say N/A !!!! :jest:
