Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing well.

My checklist scan-date: May 12th 2016, and I am still waiting on CC (or at least a response from the NVC). Today is Jun 15th 2016. It has been more than 30 days. I called couple time already and the NVC just told me to wait since they need 6 weeks to process. I am happy for those that got CC here within the 30 time frame, and at the same I am depressed on waiting for mine.

Keep it up everyone.

Regards,

TrauCon

Log into your CEAC account. At the Summary page you have to click on COMPLETED next to IV Application. Then go through the review of the form and at the end you can print or email the confirmation page.

Hey guys!!! Whn do we usually get the scan date after sending the mail to nvc

You will get an email from them about 3-4 days after they received it. However not everyone will receive emails from the NVC. Some people do, and some people dont. It has nothing to do with your case, or others' cases are better than yours. It is just the way it is.

I suggest you to call the NVC and check with them on your scan date.

TrauCon

Congrants to the CC in the last couple of days!

I have paid our AOS fee yesterday and it shows PAID, revied our DS261 as well with a officer at NVC. Can I now pay the IV fee? When do we start the visa application?

If your IV fee is unlocked then go for it. Your DS-260 form will be unlocked once your IV fee status goes to 'Paid'.

I completely understand how you feel, I was freaking out before I got my cc but the good news is you know you didn't get a checklist it's just that they haven't reviewed your documents as yet...hopefully you get your cc by this evening. Sending good vibes your way.

After DS261 and AOS fee, the option to pay for IV fee will active (a link that you can click on) on the NVC for you to click on to pay. Just keep checking the NVC page to see that. Pay it as soon as you can.

Moreover, after the AOD and IV are showing PAID, then you can start your DS260 IV application. You can file the DS260 form online.

both packages should be submitted together yes. it really is beneficial to you. Sending one package at a time will be prolonging your case from being completed. They need both AOS and IV packages to review along with the DS-260 (IV Application) before they can issue a Case Complete. so if you want this process to move quickly, then send everything in one package.

Thank you for your advice. When you paid your IV bill. How long did you have to wait before you could complete DS-260 and submit the documents. Also can you submit documents online or does it have to be the NVC US postal address.

When your IV bill status shows "Paid" then your DS-260 will unlock. you can complete and submit it anytime after. your profile pictures shows the American and Indian flags, but your consulate is Australia? I know India doesn't allow online submissions. I'm not sure about Australia. check this link. https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_documents.html

If your case number begins with one of the prefixes listed on that page, then you can submit online. you just have to follow the process for that. if it's not listed on there then you have to physically mail it in. best to use a courier services so you can track where your sensitive documents are.

When it says AOS package recived, what does that mean. Is that the pdf files recieved in the email when we got our case number or is that something the NVC will sent in the mail?

Congrats on the CC everyone!

I just noticed that when I log in onto the NVC site on the top right corner says: Visa class IR1! Is that right? Shouldn't it be CR1/IR1?

IR1 is correct bcuz you have been married since 2009 to your spouse....which is over the 2yr threshold for conditional resident visas.
