Anyone received Interview date from Nairobi Embassy yet?

Not yet. CC June 10th. When was your case complete? Based on my research it is taking two or three months after CC before Nairobi is issuing an interview date....I am hoping and praying that is no longer the case.

2013 began CR1 process

Fast forward to:

2/24/16- Husband received 10 year green card

Starting the process over again for our daughter (IR2):

1/13/16 NOA1 from Potomac Service Center

4/5/16 NOA2!

4/7/16 Case sent to NVC

4/22/16 Received NVC Case and Invoice Numbers

4/22/16 Submitted DS-261

4/22/16 Invoice for AOS Received. Paid AOS Fee

4/25/16 AOS Fee shows as PAID

4/27/16 Invoice for IV Received. Paid IV Fee

4/29/16 IV Fee Shows as PAID

4/29/16 Submitted DS-260

5/6/16 Sent AOS and IV packages

5/9/16 AOS and IV packages received by NVC

5/9/16 Scan Date

6/10/16 Case Complete

8/8/16 Received Interview Date

Not yet. CC June 10th. When was your case complete? Based on my research it is taking two or three months after CC before Nairobi is issuing an interview date....I am hoping and praying that is no longer the case.

May 16, Just don't get it why it should take that long & some embassies get their dates quicker.

I know. Waiting near the end of the immigration process seems more difficult than all the initial waiting earlier in the process. I know Nairobi is super busy processing visas for I believe 4 or 5 countries so I am sure that is why they get so backed up. Best of luck to you as you wait. I hope you hear something still this month!

07 Oct 2016 ### Green Card Production started (Status changed in ELIS website) - Now I am pretty much sure after applying SSN green card production starts !!!

Mine changed to "In transit" about a week after I recieved my interview date. About another week after that it said "Ready". It doesnt always change to "In transit" so it might just show "ready" when the embassy has it. NVC first send the electronic case and after that they send the papers. Don´t worry about it :)

What you can do is check with the embassy if they have recieved your case. I waited for that to since I needed to expedite. I dont know how it works in your country but I e-mailed the embassy asking if they have recieved the case. Once they had it I sent an expedite e-mail. NVC will probably not answer if the embassy has recieved it so best way is to contact the embassy directly.

Case went from Ready yesterday to AP today.

Since my visa was approved, it says that it will be processed and mailed/available within 2 business days. I'll have it next week then ^_^
