I missed that! Still, congrats on getting the interview date, it's a big step. Embassy in Bahrain is not busy, but maybe they do need time to get packages, organize everything etc... so July could have been too quick for them.

Yea I am thankful to GOD for everything :) .. I will still ask embassy to expedite.. asking doesn't cost money :D

yeah they are closed for atleast 8-10 days.. its like weekend(2 days) then 4th of july (1 day) then Eid (3 days) then again weekend (2 days).. so mostly 8-10 days off ..

Oh wow haha I I wasn't looking at the weekend but yea if you calculate it like that :)

I was just concerned about other Arab countries so this is good to know. I'm waiting for a response for my husband to enter Morroco for his interview from the Moroccan embassy in Tunisia so it was a good heads up about Eid. I forgot about that.

I am not sure about Morocco as they don't fall under GCC .. but Eid holidays should be similar and don't forget 4th of July day off :D

Hey everyone,

Update:::::

Took documents to embassy this morning and was told that the documents look good and that they will review them and give me a call. So the wait continues. I am alright I know that they have to do their jobs. This process requires a lot of patience and faith. All in all we will be ok. :cry:

Congrats to all interview dates and updates. :dancing:
