1st September 2015 - I-130 Sent

14th January 2016 - I-130 Petition approved

NVC

8th February - NVC Received case

26th February - NVC Fees "Paid" on website
24th March - DS-260 Sent & confirmation received

10th May - IV Package sent to NVC

20th June - Case compete
28th June - Received Interview confirmation (P4)

Embassy
22nd July - Medical Examination
1st August - Interview date - Approved!!

2nd August - Issued

5th August - Visa in hand

24th October - POE

ROC

21st July 2018 - I751 sent

26th July - NOA received 

31st August - Biometrics appointment

5th September - Fingerprint review was completed

8th July 2019 - ROC Approved!

5th July  - New card is being produced

13th July - 10 year green card received

Congrats to those who finally gotten visa date an to those who are approve,what's up with Jamaica no visa date for ja it seem like Kingston us embassy is over pack that must be the case..congrats again

Its early tho they just started yesterday lol

  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

I called NVC today and find out my wife interview was schedule for 08/05/2016.it has been long journey since last year August. I wish the rest of you these guys best lucky. Dont lose hope is going to come soon, just keep me in prayer.

I know its painful to wait.. hang on you will get it soon probably lot of B1/B2 and F1 folks have filled the abu dhabi interview slots .. there should be a change after mid of august...

yup in UAE all govt plus all embassies close for eid vaction from 1st july till 10th july lol so no more working so in july we have 31 days 31-10=21 - 6 weekends so 21-6= 15 us embassy working in july for only 15 days haha[/quote

How did you find this out? Just wondering if it's the same for all Arab countries.

I missed that! Still, congrats on getting the interview date, it's a big step. Embassy in Bahrain is not busy, but maybe they do need time to get packages, organize everything etc... so July could have been too quick for them.

yeah they are closed for atleast 8-10 days.. its like weekend(2 days) then 4th of july (1 day) then Eid (3 days) then again weekend (2 days).. so mostly 8-10 days off ..

m living in UAE i know about public or private sectors holidays in public its 10 days and private its 2 days so US embassy comes under private or public sector?

I looked it up. For UAE the American Embassy is only closed from July 7th-July 9th or whenever eid will be. It is on their website :)
