Case Complete to Interview July 2016

Hi I had my interview on the 25th and was approved, the CEAC website said Issued on the 27th and that was the last update, Today it's been updated again and I haven't received my passport yet. It's still show ISSUED though.

Any thoughts ?

How did you decide on passport collection...thru dhl or you were picking it up yourself?

If you selected DHL, then you can call them but they usually email you with a tracking number etc. If you decided to go for it at the embassy then you can call the embassy to find out if it's ready for pickup.

I know I've been posting before but it's not too late to say HAPPY NEW MONTH EVERYONE!!

Just an update: the embassy got my additional docs on Tuesday at midday but no change in status on CEAC as yet for either me or my kids. Praying real hard for this to be finally approved for us.

The embassy emailed a response this morning saying the docs were indeed recd and are being reviewed by the immigration visa officer...this was after I've been emailing them since last week Monday!

On a better note...congrats to all those who have case complete (welcome newbies) and those who have gotten interview dates. Those who are still awaiting dates...hang in there, we are here to support you! Those in AP like me...keep praying for the wait to be over with great news of ISSUED!

On a side note...those who have gotten approved and are wondering on the next step, please refer to the VERY 1ST THREAD posted by DWheels76. It's a very detailed thread with everything that can help you.

hey guys i have problem in my pass port my father name spelling is worong by one latter insted of "G" they put "O"

so in interview do i got problem ? and what i have do now ? please help

Thank you Jesus. I have never hugged my husband like I did right now. Visa approved.... He was asked total of three questions. I truly appreciate you all for your help. I will post questions later. Right now having some refreshments with hubby. Joy! Joy! Joy

I picked up my visa and immigrant packet yesterday. Paid the Elis fee as well, POE will be Sunday in Houston. I can't believe it's all worked out for the best. Thanks for the support and good luck to everyone with this whole process!

The officer asked for several docs:

1. A job letter from my husband

2. A tax assessment from my husband off the IRS website

3. Form 1040 from my co-sponsor (father in law)

4. W2 from my father in law

He said that once I gathered everything I can mail it to the embassy along with the passports. I did so and the docs arrived at the consulate on Tuesday midday. Got an email confirming that the docs were indeed received by the embassy.

Only thing is I did not send any W2 since my father in law is self employed and would not get W2s....he did however get 1099s and these were already produced to the officer at the interview.

Fingers crossed for an ISSUED asap!!!!

its take 2 months but they schedule visa appointment one month in advance so this month end u will get a interview date but still wait another month till interview

Thanks for your reply, It doesn't work that way in France, Pick up is not an option and they send the passport with regular mail.

I was just wondering why it was taking so long but I guess I'm anxious about getting my passport back and maybe the update was only a way of saying we mailed the package today ?

I'm going to way till tomorrow and then send them an email, I'm suppose to fly to San Francisco on the 13th.
