Case Complete to Interview July 2016

I just wanted to take some time to thank everyone in this forum for their assistance throughout this process. My wife had her interview this morning and we have been approved!! She said it was very fast, only lasting 3-4 minutes. It sounds like they basically asked 2 questions: how we met and what I do for a living (both with simple follow-on and related questions). They then looked through the pictures and asked where we got married. They told her she was approved and happy travels. She claims they then took her passport and advised it should be ready for pickup within 2 weeks.

Thanks again everyone and for those still navigating through the process, rest assured it's just a waiting game at this point and it will all be over soon.

Thank you :luv: I think I'm going to add a date cutoff there, so people can see more recent interview scheduling (instead of ALL scheduling) should they choose. If there are any other suggestions, please let me know!

BTW, it's ALL JavaScript, so anyone that wants to copy/paste the source code or review it (it's messy, sorry, I don't normally work with JS) - please feel free. Note that in order to work with Google Sheets API you will have to replace the clientId as that clientId will only work from the listed domain.

At the interview would you need to bring the i864 form with you ? I didn't make copies of it when I sent it to the NVC. Does this mean I need to make a new one and bring it to the embassy? Another question, do I need to fill out a new i130 form or is that already forwarded to the embassy of the USA in abu dhabi? If anyone can give me any advice on how to prepare for the interview when it comes, it will be great. We have been married for over two years. Our category is ir1. We have a daughter together. Would I need to include chats on what's app etc? And last, do I need to bring a ds230 part 1 and 2 form? Sorry for all the questions thank you for your help in advance

Firstly...welcome to the madhouse :goofy:

Secondly...how come you made no copies? Everything you sent you should have extras in case you wounded up getting a checklist.

Thirdly...please go to the VERY first post on page 1 of this thread to get answers on what you are asking.

Hi the reason I didn't make copies be cause on the website it says nothing about bring copies of the i864 form. I asked someone that has had an interview and they said no need for it because it has been sent with the nvc packet. If I am wrong someone let me know. And I did recieve a checklist all I was missing was the w2 form for 2015 even though I know for a fact I sent it to the NVC. Really confusing

Please don't misunderstand...I talked about having copies in general as this would be the logical thing to do. The nvc sends the entire package to the embassy which consists of the original i864 and copies of everything else. At the interview, you'd just have to take all originals of the copies provided to NVC.

Exactly - just like they lost the W-2, they could lose a more difficult-to-replace paper =S
