Now you have seen the spreadsheet and see the 60 to 90 days wait for Jamaica. There still April people waiting. So please be patient.

90 days is too much cant person expidiate through senator or congress since nvc asked to wait 60 days on case compliction letter

Everyone pls don't panic if u call in the morning an u get no update for visa appointment, try check in the late evening for update in the morning might be too soon for them to tell u..I did the same thing an call in the morning for appointment an they told me they haven't started an I call around 4-5 pm an I got a update on the 24 of may in the late evening I got my update give them time to hear from the embassy about the dates they have holding...

Really? I have seen your spreadsheet and thought those persons from April just haven't updated their timeline. I saw a few persons with CC April from Jamaica thats interviewing July. I have even seen May CC interviewing July.

No a congressman or Senator can not get anything expediated. If your reason falls within the guidelines of an expedite ask for it. It's each embassies decision to decide.

Ghana and Egypt are 4 to 5 months. I have people waiting since February for those countries. Nothing you can do but wait.

My POE was successful in Houston, that was about 3 weeks ago. When is the actual GC meant to be mailed to me? Not that I'm in a big hurry but I'd like to have it and also need it to sort out my SSN

You paid the $165 right?

Green card usually takes 4 to 8 weeks. SSN takes 2 weeks. If no card in 2 weeks go to SS office and inquire.

Jamaica has been doing alot of catching up. So hopefully May CC get dates we shall see.

Good advice. Let the people have their coffee. Just stay calm people there still 3 days in this week.

Good morning peeps.

All our cases were touched today. Mine still shows Ready, the boys' is still AP but all with today's date.

They received our documents they told me but "once the process is completed you will be notified".

Still no approval or denial :(

I actually replied with "so you can't tell me if we are approved or denied?"

Click "spoiler" below for a detailed account of our journey to a CR1 visa via DCF in Athens, Greece.

 

2011 - Met hubby online and became friends
Early 2013 - Confessed our love for each other * Late 2013 - I got pregnant with our daughter
2014 - Our baby was born in Athens, Greece and completed our family. We now have two boys and a girl!! 2013 - 2015 - Looking for jobs in Greece, none were available (due to socioeconomic crisis) 2015 - Decided only way to feed our family was to immigrate and started the process December 2015 - Got married (Greece has a LOT of red tape for foreigners marrying Greeks)
January 2016 - Finished gathering all documents and getting them translated
* * DCF in Athens, Greece * *
28th January 2016 - Finally filed I-130s
29th June - ISSUED!!!!!!1st July - Visa packages and passports delivered to DHL.4th July - Visas in hand! CU in two weeks USA!!
19th July- POE Detroit. All went well!! (excluding our screaming, jet lagged toddler!!)

 

After Arrival in the US

September 2016 - Hubby is diagnosed with congestive heart failure
October - February 2016 - Battle with drug use, overdosing, bringing home a tiny paycheck

March - July 2017 - I am working 80 hr weeks to make ends meet. Discovered hubby's affair. Still overdoses and is hospitalized. Has quit working all together.
July - October 2017 - Marriage counseling. Revealed hubby has "several" mental conditions. Is started on several mental meds.

October 2017 - Got accepted for a college course. Got better job to help raise my kids.

October 2017 - March 2018 - Situation at home is toxic. He files for divorce.

July 2018 - Divorce is final. I have full custody of our daughter.

 

ROC (GC expires July 19th 2018)

July 16th - Package for ROC is delivered to the CA service center (divorce waiver).

August 30th - NOA1 received with 18 month extension (fee waiver approved).

March 28th 2019 - Biometrics

August 8th 2019 - Case Approved No RFE No Interview - 10 year GC in production

N400 (Online - Detroit, MI office)
June 6th 2023 - Applied for naturalization under 5 year rule.
June 7th 2023 - Application received/Biometric will be reused.
June 16th - Interview scheduled.
July 27th - Upcoming interview.



**Our DCF journey to an IV took 5 months and 1 day from turning in the I-130 to getting "Issued"**

I know I might not hear anything until end of next month so I am just sitting back and wait for our time to come. ?

Here I am writing to y'all from my work place in Houston, Texas.

I reached here on June 25, 2016.

The immigration process went lighting. I arrived at George Bush International Airport, and then further, guided to join the line with the visitors. I was attended within 15 minutes.

The officer asked me for my finger prints and asked for my IV packet that I handed over to him right away.

He asked me to wait for an officer. The second officer took me into this room with three officers and handed over my IV packet to them. They updated my data in their system within 5 minutes or so.

and I was in with IV stamp.

The officer greeted me with a smile and a hand shake "Welcome to The USA".

and here I am sitting in my Houston office, working from here.

Feels great to be with my family.
