Been on both those airplanes (not those flights). What amazed me with the 380 was that it looks like a beluga whale, but the take-off and landing were absolutely as smooth as silk.

I completely agree. For a monster plane you barely feel the take off or landing. When you're inside you don't think you're in a double decker plane. If it weren't for the ridiculously long lay overs in Dubai connecting to India I would take it every single time we fly overseas.

Well Visa fee paid. I feel poor. Hubby leaving Nigeria in less than 23 hours from now. We are exactly 48 hours away from him landing.

Okay to the business. Tomorrow I estimate scheduling for some embassies will start so please be patient if yours haven't. Most people here call so if you see an embassy scheduling just call and ask about yours. And be specific.

Do not ask "have you started scheduling"? That's not specific they will say is or no and not even be on your country.

You ask "Have you started scheduling for XXXXX"?

Every month is a different time frame when they send out the Interview Letter. Sometimes its immediate, sometimes within 24 hours sometimes 2 to 3 days. So be mindful and keep your eyes on your email box. :goofy:

Okay here's to an exciting week for us all. Case Completes, Approvals, POE's. YAY it's about to get real!! (L)

Thanks Lenhey, I wasn't sure the fees were exactly referring to!

It´s the fee that you pay so that USCIS will make you your GC that will be sent to you once you´ve entered the US :) All the information about it can be found in the link that I sent in the above post :)

Gargalmon22 -- I have answered your questions about medical and biometrics in our PM's. you really have to read the links I have sent you. they are directly from the Mumbai consulate's website and it has exactly what you are asking. You are doing yourself a disservice by not reading information that is given to you. Others on this forum can only help you so much but you have to read and understand what's going on. Kolkata does not have an approved medical exam location. You need to go where the Mumbai Consulate has approved hospitals. It's in the link I send you which takes you directly to the Medical Exam PDF. The biometrics can be done at any of the locations that are listed in the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-loc-ofc.asp#locations website. The site will ask you for the interview date though; however, you can go to the website and it does lists where all the VAC (Visa Application Center) are that you can choose from when the time comes.

you will have to make an appointment to get that done and will need your interview appointment letter as well.

FYI...PMs were sent to Frank as well...I know this bcuz he referred the questions to me since it was based on the i864 and my specific situation. It DOES help when they read the info sent :thumbs:

My husband just paid my green card fees. My A number is an 8 digit number so he entered an additional 0 according to the instructions. After the fees was paid, the receipt showed my A number as a 9 digit number including the 0. Did I make any mistakes or am I good? This whole process has made me paranoid.
