You'll know by calling when they are schedulibg (they aren't scheduling for your embassy yet for August) or keep checking your inbox for IL when schedulibg starts. Or wait for your status to change to READY. But I would hope by than you would know your date.

You have to be patient. Still another week to wait for scheduling. Hang in there.

????? ths patient i cant.... Feel so low down i just want to quit.... Whyyyyy but whyyyy i want all ths to be done☹️

Hearing everybody talking about interview dates got me a lil worried now, my cc date was the 14th I hope I make the cut for August and I don't have to wait till September. I think my husband is going to loose his mind if we have to wait till September he's already acting like a spoiled brat because the email said it can take 60 days for the appointment to be scheduled.

Just got back home from Interview in Accra. 221g Temporal refusal. They gave my wife's passport back and said they will call.

We don't know exactly what they are not happy about. They are not requesting for anymore documents.

Trying to cheer my wife up right now and hopefully we hear from them soon.

So sorry for the delay. Hang in there.

  1. What were the questions?
  2. Did they look at any evidence she brought?
  3. Did you send a good quality robust I-130 package with some good evidence.
  4. How many visits did you make and for how long?
  5. When was the last time you saw each other?
  6. Are there red flags in your relationship?
  7. Was there a specific line of questioning the CO was stuck on?
  8. Does she have children from previous relationships?

OMG, same story here! We were hoping for July interview, now I am hoping for August. September is too far away and we'll go crazy if the interview is NOW scheduled for freakin' September! :(

We got Approved!!! :dancing: So very happy right now!

Good morning everyone I am finally in the U.S.A. with my wife and I am so happy. I have something that has been worrying me though my wife says I shouldn't worry. I left from Jamaica to Boston but had a layover in New York so my POE would have been in New York correct? When I landed in New York I got off the plane and stopped at immigration line just like everyone else. The lady instructed me to go to the visitors section even though I said I was an immigrant and the Customs officer only asked me for the package and the address I was staying took my finger prints and picture and stamped a small approved stamp in the passport and said welcome to America. When I landed in Boston I didn't have to do anything I just got of the plane and collected my bags. So is that it for the POE? Was I supposed to do something else because I read that some people waited for an hour or longer with immigration so I am worried I may have missed something

You have nothing to worry about they did what they were supposed to do. In the next three weeks are so start checking for your ssn card if you don't received by then, go to the ss office and inquiry. Welcome to yuh fadda bredda name Sam!

Hi,

I am sorry you got this dreaded 221(g). Don't be stressed out....I believe a little peek into the Ghana portal should shed some light on the reason(s) behind the 221(g) without request for additional docs.

Hang in there!
