my case was completed on may 19th 2016 when can i expect an interview date and can i use ceac site to check when my file has left the nvc and will head to the embassy.

yes i read the spread sheet but i would still like a personal answer.

Hi dondreall...tell you what...

You send DWheels76 a magic crystal ball, and she'll read it and be able to tell you when your interview will be.

I'm sorry - none of us has enough power to tell you when your interview will be scheduled. You'll just have to watch the spreadsheet and estimate when yours will be based on the people ahead of you.

All of us here have gone through the same horrible waiting game.

Ok so had my interview yesterday in London, and just want to write about the experience.

My interview was at 1:30 but got to embassy at 12 and they let me through. I got a number and sat down in the waiting area. Then my number was called and went to a window they asked for my ds260, police report and birth certificate. And that is it. The lady said when do you planning on flying and I said next week. I then went back to sit down in the waiter no area.

Waited about an hour and then my number got called again. I went to the window and she asked who is the beneficiary ? How did we meet? What all the countries I have lived in? And then she said ok all is done approved. So all in all in was probably the easiest part of this whole process. Now just waiting for my passport back.

That's awesome!! Congratulations :) Hope my husbands interview is as quick and easy!

Had my interview today.

Only got 4 questions!

1.how did I meet my husband?

2.do we plan to stay in Texas in a long term?

3.how many siblings does my husband have?

4.how old are my husband's children?

Then I'm approved!!!

Yay!!! So exciting congratulations! Hopefully all our interviews is as quick and easy :)

I know that Princehope's interview was rescheduled to the 29th of June unfortunately. He just has a few more weeks to go, praying it goes well for him!

Oh ya! that's right. I did read that. I was looking at the spreadsheet and noticed his name for today. I think Debbie might be playing catch up with all the posts and hasn't gotten a chance to update it yet.

Hi all,

CO said everything is ok and approve. He put a stamp on one of the papers and took my hubby's passport .

He gave back some of the document we submitted to NVC and said 7or 10 business days to get passport back.

Is it really APPROVED? Can they change their mind?

Hi Javi,

Thank you for the info, I hope things won't get too complicate for us to get our physical green card.

My CR1 visa was approved at the Mumbai Consulate today. Shall be posting a review in the Reviews section but just wanted to say that it lasted for not more than five minutes, by the the time I had arranged all my document folders at the counter, the interview was over.

My interview was scheduled for the 6th but all systems crashed at the Mumbai Consulate and our interviews were rescheduled for for the 7th.

Congratulations. That's great news. See how easy peazy it was.
