Thanks everyone. Dwheels i dont know which site new delhi, india embassy uses.

Yours is a F1 visa which is a nonimmigrant visa I believe. Mumbai and New Delhi uses USTraveldocs.com for all their visas -- immigrant and nonimmigrant. Here's the link to the New Delhi consulate website. Towards the top it says Apply for a U.S. Visa by scheduling your visa appointment. That takes you the USTraveldocs.com site.

Ok just running through my final checklists for Monday interview. And one question can I pay for the visa at the interview? Or do I pay for it online before the interview? And any vj member having a meeting in London on Monday let me know

Dean, you must wait until you get your passport back with your visa in it to pay the Immigrant Visa Fee. You will be assigned an "Alien" number, and it will be printed on your visa. You need this number to be able to pay the fee.

Sukie,

Is the same as the registration number? Or is the "A" number listed under passport heading?

Thanks...the A# seems to be the same as the passport number and the registration is only a numeric number...

No you are looking wrong. On the Visa there is your DOS/Case#. Below that is the registration number that is 8 #'s long. Your passport# is on the left of the Visa. So very different.
