Case completed in March 31.

On May 25, NVC told me that they already scheduled the interview on July 26.

Today is May 31, and I still hasn't receive any interview email.

Should I be worried?!

I would call NVC and ask for the email.

Hey Amadia,

They asked me the tax transcript for 2014 & 2015. We submitted 2014 but up-to now IRS hasn't started issuing 2015. Anyway we emailed the 2014. And received the automated reply and another 'human' email day before yesterday. Waiting.. praying to God. What did they mentioned in their 'human' email? Pls pm me.

You can get your 2015 tax transcripts. I requested mine and received it within a week.

I called my embassy's Visa Call Centre for an update on my case and was told that they got the docs but it can take up to 2wks for a response to come back to me....I was told to call them back if 2wks passed and I hear nothing.

This additional waiting is killer right now :cry:

I can´t believe the long wait for an interview date :clock: ... Because NVC "lost" my birth and marriage certificate we had to go through a supervisor review. My case should have been completed April 13th but instead it was completed on March 23rd and now I have to wait for an interview whitch probably wont be until August. This sucks! I´m sorry about this. I´m just trying to vent my frustrations to people who can relate to the situation.

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that my interview went well in Montreal, the only glitch i came across is with my pictures. I brought my 2x2 pictures for my visa and they were the same as my canadian passport picture ( i renewed it last month). They said they can't use the same ones. Thank god my husband had a 10 dollar bill so that i can use the photo booth downstairs.

I got my passport back in 3 days. Interview was on Tuesday may 31st and passport in hand today friday June 03rd.

They did not ask me for any additional proofs. Just the original of birth certificate (i didn't have one but provided my affidavits), police certificate and marriage certificate.

I was so prepared, interview took 5 mins and from the line up outside to them handing me the welcome letter it took 1.5 hours.

I followed everything on visa journey to the dot and process went pretty smoothly except for the visa pictures.

Good luck to those waiting for the interview and congratulations to those who are approved!!

It's like my mother-in-law tells me....Have some patience, smile, be polite and let them do what they need to for as long as they need to; we are at THEIR mercy for an approval.

Patience isn't my strongest suit....my family knows this! :rofl:

I dislike procrastination and this visa journey feels just like that = PROCRASTINATION at its finest :ranting:

But...imma wait it out....it's outta my hands either way...
