Hi all...someone just posted on the April page that San Francisco is scheduling IOE interviews. I know that we have a couple of San Francisco filers in out list

Did anyone from New York City field office with an IOE application has received an interview letter? My application date is June 10, 2016 and the biometrics were completed on June 30, 2016. Since then there has been no update.

Did anyone from Phoenix Field office with an IOE receipt receive interview notice yet? Just curious because people are talking about field offices equipped with ELIS system and not sure what does that mean. To me it is not a brainer... if you receive Bio-metric information uploaded from the same field office into ELIS system, what else do they need to process remaining part of the applications.. I would think that all of the field offices connects to the central database which might be located somewhere.. so capturing and updating applicant information should be seamless as long as they are all interconnected to the central DB and i would think in today's day and age, they must have such capability .. especially field offices in big cities..

I filed my N400 with Phoenix and I've got an IOE. Have not received any news yet about interview after my Biometrics on July 19th. I live in Los Angeles. When I came to my bio appt, the officer told me to wait for interview letter within 3 months. So maybe soon?:-)

I would like to travel abroad on November 10 and be out of US for 1 month. Do you think it is safe to travel in this period of waiting for an interview date or should I postpone it and just wait? Personally I don't know when IOE will start the process. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

They said you should be interviewed within 3 months after your biometrics, but it seems like it's going to take longer than that since they are scheduling and interviewing NBC applicants first. I'd call their help desk and ask them directly.

According to processing N-400 timeline for Los Angeles office is 5 months. I would postpone your trip because our interview can be scheduled in November.
