Went to St. Paul today for my biometrics appointment. It went really well, friendly staff. Since we live some distance away we got there 45 minutes early. They took my paperwork and sent me through. We were in and out within 20 minutes. Now to wait for the interview letter

Did they ask you why you are doing biometrics too early? And what time did you go?morning or afternoon? I am going to try an early walk-in this Friday!

fwiw - we did the early walk in for the biometrics yesterday in Houston...

we tried to go in around 945am and were told by the supervisor they were very busy and to try back at 1pm, but she said "no guarantee".

We went away and came back a little early at 1240pm... tried our luck and were met with the guard instead and she gave us the paperwork etc. and about 35 minutes later we were done...

Around 1pm, it got busy again...

so my advice, dont go on the top of the hour... go around 35 to 45 mins after the hour... as they schedule everybody to come in at the top of the hour and if you're trying to get an early walk in you may be asked to come back..

no big deal for us to come back as we just did some shopping near by....

Seems to be a common problem---I had it too a few weeks ago, and then I kept signing in and out and asking to change my password until I managed to get into my account again.

Someone suggested an easier fix above: add /account/link at the end of the URL that shows up when you can't get into your account. I haven't tried it myself, as now I can log in. I'm curious if it works, though.

I've also done my biometrics today. I went to the Processing Center in Long Island City, NY almost an hour before the scheduled time and there was only one applicant there. I was done and out in 5-10 minutes.

FYI, I was allowed to bring my cell phone inside (contrary to what the biometrics appointment notice might suggest); I only had to turn it off.

And now the wait for the interview begins.

He did not ask why I was early, we arrived @ 9:15 am, my appointment was for 10:00 am. It seemed that as long as you had your appointment letter they let you go through. It was filling up as we were leaving @ 9:45. am.

Hi everyone! Sent my N400 last June 20th and according to the tracking # of my package, it was received Friday, June 24th. I saw the charge pending on my account but I haven't received an email notice from them saying they received my application even though I submitted the G-1145 notification of application. Hope I receive notice soon! I'm excited for all of us!

We got ours back, it has some info that was stamped and then hand written to indicate they were done on 6/27...

I dont remember if i had the letter given back to me when i had my n-400 biometrics taken back in 2013....

waiting for both email / text to indicate the account status has changed... for those who have gone to the "trial site" - there is an option there to sign up for updates...

Yes I got my appt letter back and stamped date on it. I also got the form back that they ask us to fill in biometrics apt.

I'm waiting too for case status change. I hope it changes soon.
